what was the reason for your first c-section?
Just curious. I had an emergency c-section with L because his heart rate kept dropping lower and lower. Hoping to have a VBAC this time around!

Haven't had a vbac, yet. With DD I ended up in an "emergency" c-section after not sleeping for 3 days, laboring for 20 hours, she was face up and not descending. I pushed for an hour with no progress. My OB was concerned I didn't have the energy to keep pushing. She was right. I kept falling asleep on the operating table.
For #2 I'm debating trying for a vbac or just having another c.

The immediate reason was fetal distress (heart rate dropping) here as well. Although we had seen that the cord was wrapped 3 times and we had IUGR, so we knew this was a likely possibility.
