Do you still have them since your cycle returned PP?
I used to have the worst cramps in my lower back the day before my period arrived...and since I gave birth I no longer get any pains. How weird!

Yeah, I still got them after. Boo! Maybe pregnancy #2 will change that!

My horrible period cramps turned into horrible ovulation cramps! So weird how it switched! Ovulation is worse than my period!

@illumina: I don't know-- still no period
Yours already came back?
I know my sister's came back almost as bad as before. When I went off BCP they came back much milder than they had been before.

For me, it seems to depend on the birth control I'm on. On the mini pill, my cramps were pretty bad. On my regular combo pill, they're not bad. I'm going off bc in a couple of months. I'm thinking that it'll go back to how bad they were pre-bc. Also, when I go off bc, I'll be at a lighter weight than when I conceived LO, so I'm curious to see if that will have any effect.

@illumina: Hugs. My period came back early too. The mini pill made it worse. If I didn't take my pill just right, I would get it. Even when I took right consistently, I would still get spotting. It's one of the things I'm not looking forward with #2 in the future.

@illumina: Boo. But your LO STTN early, right? I hear those are related-- and I'd take STTN and a monthly period over waking up multiple times a night!

@Foodnerd81: yeah, 8wks. I guess hence the drop in supply too
Aww I'm sorry C is still waking. I've been waking S at 2-3am to maintain my measly supply...though she's mostly FF now so I'll probably drop it soon.

I used to have horrible ovulation pain, even more horrible cramps on the 1st and 2nd day of my period, and sometimes cramps between ovulation and actually getting my period. Now my cramps are bearable, I can actually take OTC meds for them if I choose. My period is also much shorter and lighter. It's almost like a dream come true!

Mine went away almost completely after my first m/c, and it was at 9.5 weeks. I didn't think that being pregnant for such a short time would make a difference, but it did! I was thrilled, because mine were AWFUL.
