I wore glasses and contacts for twenty years. It took me about a month or 2 before I got over the habit.

@chopsuey: haha! There were definitely nights in the first few weeks that I almost put my fingers in my eyes to take out my contacts.

It is so nice traveling/camping/swimming without contacts/glasses!

For a few weeks I'd catch myself thinking I fell asleep in my contacts when I woke up and things weren't blurry. Or that I forgot to take out my contacts before bed because it used to be part of my routine for so many years.
