@loveisstrange: And ironically, Norah was on my short list, but D vetoed it--he vetoed any name for which there is more than one commonly accepted spelling (like Sara/Sarah). And I love Norah Jane!

I would never change her name! But I I haddd too I would change it to Maisey.

@lovehoneybee: as someone with a name that has two commonly accepted spellings (plus a couple less common ones) I vetoed Norah for the same reason, even though I love it! That was one of my "criteria".
I don't know. C's name is too perfect for her. My other early favorite name was Maya, but she is not a maya. She's a C.

Who was planned to be an Amelia, or an Aubrey... so I'd probably go with one of those. More likely Aubrey if I had to choose today. She's too rough and tumble to be an Amelia to me.
