Pretty much anything at babygap I would buy. You can piece almost any of their clothes together and it will look cute!

Gap outlet doesn't have anything that the regular stores have, I believe.

@NaturallyCathy: Yep! I haven't been to one in years, and it was all pre-baby, but the women's clothes were always different. Jeans were even cut different. The outlet is not as well made in my opinion. But hopefully you find something you like!

I would like some more one piece or rompers for C-- so much easier than shorts and a onesie. Plus, adorable. But I think that look might be better for girls. I can barely be fashionable myself, so for baby I just go for cute and adorable, "fashion" be damned.

@NaturallyCathy: @Smurfette: Yes, Gap Outlets have different stuff-- usually similar looks but they have a different label and you cannot return outlet stuff to a regular Gap and vice versa. I think Banana Republic does that same, but I might be wrong (which doesn't matter, in this case, since they don't have little baby business casual looks there anyway).

@Smurfette: @NaturallyCathy: I think most stores don't sell their current items at the outlets. They are usually the prior season - so anything you can find currently online usually can't be found in the outlet. It makes sense from a business perspective - no one would pay full price if they could go out the outlet and get the same thing.

I am guessing none of the outlet stores will have anything that is currently sold in stores at any of those retailers. So I don't think looking at what's currently on those websites will do you much good.

@Smurfette: Carter's is pretty inexpensive to begin with, so I can't imagine getting that great of a deal at an outlet (though admittedly I've never been to a Carter's outlet).

@lawbee11: We have a Carter's outlet... it's exactly the same as the regular stores.

Gymborees outlet is really good, generally. They always have some pretty good deals.

I'm coveting the black and white Carter's collection for my DD and these hippo one pieces at gap for my DS.

@twodoghouse: yes! Black and white is so pretty for little girls, and it's hard to find!
