I wouldn't quit my job. It's my passion and I love it. If I didn't love it, I wouldn't be doing it now - it's not like it pays well!

No, I actually like my job (hygienist) but I would cut down to working only 2 days and devote more time to LO and volunteer.

No, not right away. I would feel too weird just quitting...I'd give it time and think on it. Even then, I don't think I could actively quit. Maybe work part time, because I do enjoy the intellectual challenges. But I'm not sure I could just totally walk away, either. But DH and I talked about starting a business or charity

Not right away- we wouldn't tell a soul that we won until we figured out what to do next. But I sure as hell would have called in sick and stayed home to talk about it with Dh. I'd probably quit in a few months, since ill be a sahm come July anyway. We would start looking for an awesome place to buy downtown for sure though.

Nope. I would quit taking a paycheck from it though! I work for a non-profit ministry.... A restorative home for women kind of like Mercy Ministries. Despite working for my mom I love doing it and would love even more to be in a place where I could donate my services. Idk if DH would quit his.... He's got a pretty awesome boss & we're pretty blessed to have him in our lives.

I would quit one of my two jobs immediately (retail: part-time evenings/weekends). I'd give my day job in the OB/GYN a two week notice.. I like them too much to leave them in a lurch. I'd probably take some time off to get my affairs in order and then figure out a way to make a sustainable income moving forward.

In a heartbeat! I'd call up my manager right up and ask where I can send my computer and badge back! =D
Naww... I'd be nice and help transition my work to someone. But maybe working when you know you dont have to would be more fun.... maybe?

Without a doubt. I don't love my job. I work cause I have too and it pays decent. I wouldn't quit right away though. I would work a while till we got all the financial and legal stuff in order.

I wouldn't quit immediately because I enjoy having something to do, and we're a really small team so I'd hate to put that on my boss. I might request to work from home more frequently or something instead, or look for another job that I enjoy doing. I love the flexibility at my current job, and is one of the main reasons I have stuck around!

DH and I were talking last night and this was his plan: He'd splurge and get us a 2010 Odyssey (yep, his Powerball winner splurge is a used minivan). Then, he'd go back and get a PhD so he could teach. I could then stay at home. He also would want to take a portion of it to invest and a portion to start some small businesses. So, I guess, we'd both quit our current jobs, but only to take on other, different ventures.

I'm a SAHM so no, I wouldn't quit. DH and I have talked about it, though, and he said if we won he wouldn't quit his job. He LOVES his job and the company he works for, and feels fulfilled there. He said he might cut back to part time, though, so we could travel.

We'd probably invest a lot and live off the interest, or maybe open a few small businesses (I have some ideas.)

I would for sure quit my job, or well, not go back after maternity leave was done. I don't know what DH would do... probably invest our money and make managing it his job. I'd also start construction on our new house (the one I imagine I'd want), buy new cars and hire a cleaning lady stat!

We're short staffed right now, so I'd probably help transition and at least put in a two week notice because I wouldn't want to be a jerk.

I'm a little embarrassed of how genuinely sad I am not to win the lottery. I don't even need to win millions! I'd be happy with like $10,000. Just enough to give us a little more breathing room. I know two people who won modest sums like that before. One got it through a scratch off and the other matched a few numbers on powerball or mega millions. One of them bought a car and the other paid off her mortgage.

Absolutely. I'd probably give notice though. Takes a while for the money to get to you anyway...

Yes absolutely. I'd probably need to fund something else to do at some point, but the first thing I'd do is I'd travel the world for a long time with friends and family.
