I only just very recently hired a housecleaner and debated for years about getting one. I am so happy I did and would give up eating meals each month in order to keep her if I had to. She comes every other week and cleans everything inside the house except the inside of the appliances. She arrives somewhere btween 8;30 and 9 am and is gone before 5 pm. I have her use all of my own cleaning supplies and equipment. (She gave me a list of what she needed.) I hope you find a good one!

We are having a cleaner come in twice a month, to do a deep clean of the bathrooms, clean all floors, dust, etc. Will cost us $100 per session, we'll see how good she is.

She was recommended to us by a family friend.

@lisamarieloves: oh that totally seems fair! Wow, that's a really good price! I've been thinking about hiring a cleaning person. I haaaate cleaning. Do they scrub floors and everything? Bathroom?

We have a cleaner come once a month. She stays for 4 hours and cleans the bathrooms (2), the floors, makes the bed/changes the sheets, cleans the kitchen/all appliances, and dusts.

We have a housekeeper who comes three times a week. She works 9-5 and does everything. She cleans, does dishes, laundry, irons, takes the trash out, and sometimes watches LO. She also comes at night if we ask her to babysit when DH and I have plans. BUT we live in Beijing, so housekeepers are relatively inexpensive to hire. I'm thinking of having her become full time as we get closer to my due date, just so she can help out more with our very active LO.

She come every other week. She is here for 4-5 hours and she cleans the main floor and upstairs, vaccuums,mops, dusts, cleans sinks/toilets/stove/counters, etc. We ahve 2.5 baths and about 3500 sqft.

Once a month= 8-5pm and does literally everything except laundry. I pay her $18/h
I've seen less expensive, but, we trust her being in our home while I'm alone with the baby, and she is excellent at what she does. She's better than me, and I'm a clean freak.
