We have a loft upstairs that has turned into a playroom. We currently have a couch and lazy boy in there. The couch takes up so much room! We have a play castle in one corner, the lazy boy in the other. A bookshelf on one wall and opposite that, the couch. In the middle is a train table. It feels so crowded with the couch in there but I can't imagine not having seating in there...
What do you do for adult seating in the playroom?

We have a big playroom, part of it is toys, part is couches....we also have a Fatboy, but we're going to have to remove it because my son likes to use it as a landing pad!
We also have short stools around the coffee table, that we move between there and the train table, I got them at Home Goods, they're really sturdy and cost less than $20 each.

We have a fairly large space to fill so we bought a chair and a half (from a local furniture store), which is super comfy and awesome for reading with the kids, and also have a cheap slipper chair (from either target or overstock) in a fun coordinating print. Both chairs get tons of use during play dates and in the morning where my husband and I have coffee while the kids play.

Nothing at the moment - it's a big room but there are too many toys. I sit on the floor, the piano bench (real piano) or on the covered ottoman. T is getting a bean bag for Xmas so we'll have that soon.

Nonexistent. I've tried to find a floor-ish style sofa and all i could find were some from PBK but spending that amount of money wasn't going to fly.

no seating right now. There's a small storage ottoman I sit on sometimes, but most of the time he wants me on the floor playing with him anyway.

We have two pier one papasans. Kids or adults are comfy s nd I got really bright fun cushions.

I wish we had some adult seating in there, I just sit on the floor. I'd love an oversized chair that's nice and comfy to cuddle up and read in.

The floor here as well. It is off the living room, so I can just spin the recliner around if I wanted. Usually, if I'm in there I'm interacting with her so I'm on the floor anyways.

My friends with play rooms typically have daybeds as the adult seating. Not as comfortable for long term lounging, but some use storage benches that pull double duty with cushions on top.

Ours is a small bedroom and we will just sit on the floor. Haha. There's no room.
