We had a 4 foot fence installed around the pool today and I'm having some doubts...maybe it should be higher!

6 ft, but we're ripping it out to but in wrought iron instead of wood an we'll double fence to keep our grass area separate fro
the pool area. -
We had a 6 foot fence growing up with a pad lock that sat way at the top

We grew up with a pool and my parents had the baby gates installed around it (mesh about 4ft high). My mom still kept doors locked!

We have a six foot fence around our yard. There is not a fence presently just for the pool. Currently our backdoor stays locked and has an alarm on it (connected to our security system). We will have to decide in the next year if we need to add another level of prevention for our LO.

I don't know exactly, but I'd guess 5 foot. Its not taller than me, but not that much shorter either.

@autumnlove: @Mrs. Jacks: We are either replacing our fencing or tearing out our pool ASAP. I just can't decide. I love having it but it scares me to death. Have y'all considered one of those safety nets? I'd love to get one but by the time you afford it and a new fence we could about have the pool removed....when we bought our house the pool was one of the detriments!

We have an 8 feet board-on-board privacy fence. Love it!

@autumnlove: I've had two nightmares about it so far, but I think if we take as much precaution a possible, we should be ok. Let's both pledge to buy our kids those pool alarm bracelets for the summer!
