I'm starting to see some grays pop up in front (of course...) and am considering dying my hair. I'm not sure I'm ready to go back to the maintenance of it, though.
Do you dye or let your grays proudly shine through?

My hair is highlighted, so I don't see any of my greys . . . they are all blonde! BUT, right around the time of LO's surgery, there were several that popped out at my temples and at the front of my hairline . . . I thought it was going to turn into a white forelock, but no luck!
ETA: I think it depends on the color of the grey! Some greys are super sexy, and others are just too flat/lack much dimension?

My hair is dark brown and I have a few grays that are sprouting up, one is right in front, the others are in the back, so i don't see them. Plus my hair is curly, so it's all tangled up back there!
I really like the semi permanent home hair color kits, inexpensive and they really do cover.

I was highlighting my hair before gray came in, but it's there now! I'll keep highlighting my hair, but sometimes I think it makes the gray even more obvious.

yes & yes, it's gray, i dye it. if they had popped up after 30, i may have considered letting them be, but i'd like to at least have the remainder of my 20s feeling like i don't look much older than i am. seriously, my skin still breaks out, i have gray hair and i'm getting wrinkles, it's just not cool.

@MsLipGloss: mine are like shiny and almost white...they "glisten" in the sun.
@looch: personally, I love seeing women with curly brown hair and specks of gray in it. I think it's beautiful.

yup! I cover those babies up, I am not ready to have gray hair yet, I'm tooooo young! lol
The maintenance isn't bad; I color my hair at home and it takes about an hour every 6 weeks or so.

No grays yet. I don't think I will dye it. Gray hair agaibst dark hair looks beautiful IMO.

I have a few at my temples (thanks dad), but I haven't covered them. I will at some point, I think though.

@yoursilverlining: i wish i could go 6wks! after about 4 i have .75" white roots along my part, all of my gray is right on the top so it shows really badly against the rest of my very dark hair. what kind of color do you use at home? my stylist is one of my BFFs, so i get a discount, but it's still expensive to maintain! i'd consider trying to do it myself.

i've had a patch of white hairs for years that isn't always visible due to the way i part my hair--however it is growing in size and i think i will start dying it.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: i love silver hair too, i'm just not ready for it yet my grandmother had a silver chunk in the front of her dark hair when i was younger & i thought it was just beautiful! her hair all went silver eventually, but i loved the contrast.

I've had a ton of white hairs since forevvvvvvvvvvver at the crown of my head and they've gotten worse postpartum!
I always dye my hair (for change) and some don't even take color!!!

@mrs. bird: welllllll, I really should do it every 4-5 weeks haha but I almost always stretch it to 6 weeks when I look a hot mess. My hair is darker as well (and red), so grays really look bad against the rest of my hair.
I use either Revlon or John Frieda, they both have a shade that is nearly identical and that I really love as it's very close to my natural color. I used to get my hair professionally done, but it's just too much money every month.

Yes, I'm more than half gray now and I feel like I have to cover it up so that I don't look prematurely old.
