I've had it for about 5 months and haven't had to take it off to wash yet. My LO's are pukers in the car and luckily I've been able to.get a good clean without taking it off yet. *knock on wood*

We have 5 (2 kids but very car configurations) and we've washed 1 of them once!

Never. Over the winter it got wet when I left my van door open during a target trip, so I brought the cover and pads inside to dry.

I don't have the zip, just the regular, but I had to take t off once after she threw up in the car. It was a production but luckily it was one time and we've had it am for a little over a year and a half. I wouldn't have removed it any more than that even if I had the zip.

9mo and never so far. I do need to wash the little strap cover padding things. They got spit up on them.
