Are they both the same brand and model? We have a britax marathon g3 70 in my car, and we want to get another for dh's car. I an thinking if getting a cheaper one by maybe graco. Is that bad? Should i just get another britax? What would you do

We did exactly what you are thinking. The one in DH's car rarely gets used. I would have liked to get two the same but really could not justify it for the few times he has used it (we have the same britax in my car).

I got the same Britax (Marathon 70 G3). I went back and forth about getting a cheaper one for DH's car and ultimately just bought a second Britax, same model, different color.
I bought both on albeebaby.com, they have pretty good discounts

We have an Evenflo and just bought the Graco Sport since DH just got a new car Friday. I have the Graco in mine and the Evenflo is in DH's car.

We do have 2 of the same, but for twins for 1 car, sorry that doesn't help. I think for the most parts, they do the job so as long as they are similar in safety protection, I'd go with the graco.

@Mrsbells: I love it! It is so comfy (feeling), and the price was in our budget. It's this one.

We have a Britax Boulevard in my car and it's our day to day and long distance seat. We recently bought a safety first alpha omega elite for DH's car. I didn't want to spend $240+ for another Britax that he will use to drive her the 4 blocks to and from daycare.

We have two Britax Boulevards. We use both seats a lot!

We have a britax blvd in my car (primary vehicle) and a Graco myride 65 in DH's car. The MyRide does the job but I definitely feel like I would pay for the quality of the Britax.

We have Recaro ProRides because DS is equally in our vehicles. If one of use transported our son significantly more than the other, we probably would have gotten a less expensive car seat for the rarely used car.

We have two different ones only because the one I wanted didn't fit very well in my car. But they were both around the same price point since we use both cars a lot.

Thanks everyone I decided to go ahead and order the Graco Myride 65 as our second seat. I think its a good compromise
