Where are they from! The ones I tried from lowes were chintzy and I'm having trouble finding less expensive, longer ones (96")

Most of ours are from Ikea, too. We have really tall windows, and Ikea has really long panels for reasonable prices.

I just got some lovely ones that length from JCP online. Nice quality, too. They aren't super cheap but if you wait for a good sale or find clearance ones you can get a good deal.

We have some from Ikea and JCPenney. The JCPenney ones are really nice and we got them on sale. Ikea's are not bad either.

@tysonja: @joyjoy: @tinyperson: @Mrs. Bee: any chance you remember *which* from ikea?? I found 4 whites, 2 were poly/cotton which I'd prefer to avoid, but there is a huge price jump from 100% cotton to linen, and I'm curious if it's worth it. Seeing them in person isn't an option; I'll have to order online blind or beg someone to buy/ship:

@scg00387: I think mine were Ritva in white, but I don't see them on the site anymore...

@tinyperson: found them! I don't need tie backs, but I like the top of those better... http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80063833/

I have the Ikea Merete curtains, but I "hemmed" the top to remove the grommets and used clip rings instead. I really like the weight of the fabric, they feel much more expensive than they are.

I didn't want to spend too much on them since we won't live here forever. They let light through... i didn't get the thicker ones because I thought they would block out too much light.

@scg00387: we just have the cheap matilda ones --- I'm pretty sure they are not what you are looking for at your home, but they are what I wanted -- sheer, 100% cotton, with a simple textural design. I love them for our bedroom, though!
