@Mrs. Cowgirl: Same here... if I wasn't married by 37, I would probably have done it alone in one way or another (adoption or AI). There's nothing I ever wanted more than to be a mom.

Perhaps one not anymore than that. Being a mom is one of the best things that has happened to me.

Absolutely not. I wouldn't bring a child into this world without a mom and dad and a strong family foundation. there are kids that turn out wonderfully when raised by a single parent, but it's really important to me for my kids to have two involved, loving parents who are able to provide. It's how I was raised and it's what I want for my kids.

No. I've always wanted to be a mother, but I wouldn't have pursued it without being married.

I said I would have eventually adopted, but I never looked into the logistics of it. I don't see it happening without DH.

Yes. I love kids and would eventually consider alternative routes if it got to that point.
