Every once in a while, I'll add a new framed photo to our mantel. I never take old ones down so now it's looking a bit cluttered.
if you put up framed photos of your family in your house, do you change them out periodically?

I just put up two photo ledges and think we will swap them out annually maybe? I like having different years up there, though to show how we have all changed. I have one of our first couple photos up there I will never take down.
I recently swapped a wedding photo by our front door for a family photo.

Yes. I have lots of photos in my home (and i dont even have kids!) and i switch them out on the regular.

I haven't, but I will probably have to at some point. I dont have very much wall space in my house.

Not yet. I do have one big picture of DH's whole extended family that I switch out after every Christmas when we update it, but that's it. I don't have a single picture of L anywhere!

Nope... we put up a photo wall 5.5 years ago, and haven't changed a photo since! And there are some photos that include a few friends that we aren't friends with anymore (they were significant others of friends, and they broke up). Need to get on that...

We haven't yet. We have a gallery wall we installed last year and 2 collage frames with our wedding photos that we put up 4 years ago. I am thinking I want to change out some of the wedding photos and put in family ones.

I've taken down a lot of pictures in frames and put the pictures in an album. The dust and clutter was just getting too much to keep up with. I use a digital frame that stores lots of pictures and rotates them like a slide show.
