I have a few acquaintances that I know (through daycare, or just through the playground) and who have told me that they're pregnant. I ran into one this morning, while on a morning walk with Charlie. She said hi and I said hi back, but I didn't say anything about her pregnancy.

It would've been a nice friendly thing to say, but there's a small chance she had a miscarriage and I didn't want to risk it. If I was closer to them, maybe I would risk it... but for someone I know casually, it just feels like too much of a risk.

If you see an acquaintance that you know is pregnant, do you say something when you run into them?
