Hi Charting Bees!

I'm so confused!!! I'm two weeks into my first ever cycle off BCP and I've been charting, using a free app on my phone.

Every morning, I take my temperature and every morning it's the same - 35.8 celcius. I started using cheapie OPK test strips around CD 6, fully aware that I'd probably not O on CD 14 and fully prepared to temp and test every day until something happened.

Yesterday was CD14. At 9am, I got a faint test line on my OPK. I know that's a negative test but it was interesting because I only usually get the control line.....

This morning, at 9.30am, I got another negative OPK (with a faint test line) but my temperature had randomly shot up to 36.4 C.

For info - I've had no CM at all for the last two weeks, since stopping my BCP.....!

My question - could I have missed O??! I know a positive OPK means you will O some time between 12 and 36 hours away. Could I have had my LH surge AND Od in the 24 hours between 9am Sunday and 9.30am Monday?!!

Does anyone here test every 12 hours..... (or would this make me crazy?!!).

I'm fairly chilled about the whole getting pregnant thing - I don't expect a BFP on my first cycle off BCP (and I know it takes a while for your cycles to come back to normal) - but I'm trying to get the hang of this charting thing and it's just so confusing!

Thanks charters!
