Do you use the transplanting gel over your bare lashes or over your own mascara? Do you comb your lashes? What works the best for you?

I don't use Younique, but I did buy the TooFaced brand fiber mascara from Costco, and I think it works the same way. It comes with two tubes - one tube is like a base coat/mascara and the other is a tube of fiber. So I guess my answer is yes, I use the fiber lashes over the mascara/base coat! Some people like to use their own brand of mascara instead of the one that comes with the packaging though. I don't think you can use the fiber without mascara as a base? Or else I don't think it would stick.
I only use fiber lashes for very very rare occasions bc it's a pain to take off!

I don't use regular mascara. I use their base and then the fiber lashes and then the base again. I need to get a brush! I've been fixing w my fingers!

Transplanting gel OVER regular mascara. It doesn't work as well on bare lashes! I've found that the transplanting gel and fiber combo don't hold the curl, so I curl my lashes and apply regular mascara (then let it dry) before using the Younique.

I use my mascara first. Then I use the transplanting gel and then the fibers.

Agreed. Regular mascara - transplanting gel - fibers - transplanting gel. I also usually lightly brush/comb through them after I've applied the fibers and given it a chance to dry.
