What would you name them??
We're still undecided, and I'm secretly hoping for inspiration!
ETA: We like fairly classic-vintage names but don't want anything that is super popular. We would like their names to sound nice together, but not be matchy.

Hmmm. For boys our top two names were Henry and Elliot! I don't know if we'd use those for twins are not!!! But I think they're cute

What type/style of name do you like? I don't think I'd do super matchy twin names, but I would want them to go together well. I haven't thought much about boy names so I am no help!

If it's any consolation at all, I'm full term today and we still have five first names and a plethora of middle names that we have yet to sort into any one full name!
This baby could come home as "Baby Girl Hendricksen". lol
I don't know what I would name twin boys. I think I would pick names similar in style (but I'd do that anyway for a sibling set) but not in sound. I don't want to share our top boy's names here (I'm very protective of our names! lol) but if you give me your email I'll send them to you!
That said, my style is somewhat unusual, so my names may be of no help to you at all if your style is more classic.
How would you define your naming style?

Charlie Owen
Zachary Quinn
Anthony Carmen

My favorite boy names are just a titch removed from more common boy names, so I'd probably be no help. I like names like Matteo, Luca, Kenzo... things with a nugget of familiar, but also with an international flavor.

@autumnlove: Ooh, nice work. You are quite talented, my friend!

Bert and Ernie (kidding!)
I like Elliot, and I like twin names to not be too matchy matchy.

@Mrs. Jacks: I would need your help with the middle names! Takeshi?

@autumnlove: LOL. I'm still working on middle names for you, my dear!

If I were having twin boys...!
Combing through all of Wagon Jr.'s finalists, I'd probably choose James and Dean. James Dean, I know.... but those were my two favorite!

An acquaintance named her two boys Holden and Haiden. Another acquaintance named her twin girl Charlotte (aka Charlie) and son Edward Jr.
http://multiples.about.com/od/name1/a/toptwinnames_2.htm --> I like Luke/Lucas and Logan (on the list). You mentioned Elliot - what about Ethan or Evan with it (stole from the link too)?
GOLD / wonderful pea / 17697 posts
With Elliot I like Owen, Jack, Henry, Samuel, or Oliver.

@autumnlove: Unfortunately, there was a significant Benjamin in my past life, so I don't think Mr. Blue would bite for that one! :). But, I do love Ian; it's in consideration.

ETA: I see you updated your post and said you like more classic names. I love Elliott!
blogger / pomelo / 5361 posts
@FutureMrsMcK: @lawbee11: Oliver was a serious contender, but I decided we weren't cool enough or sufficiently British to pull it off.
@Mrs. Pen: We liked your FB list-especially Mr. Blue! We tend to like classic, vintage, but not super popular (minus our love for Elliot, which makes the list regardless of popularity!). Girls were sooo much easier to choose since we're okay with girl names that are more unusual!

We said if we ended up with twin boys we'd name them Sawyer and Sullivan
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
@Mrs. Blue: awww yay!! I'm Mr. Blue approved
which did he like off my list?
papaya / 10570 posts
Our top two boy's names are Jonah and Myles, so I'd probably name twin boys that! I love Jacoby but, much like you said about Oliver, we're not sufficiently cool or American enough (we *are* British!).
blogger / pineapple / 12381 posts
Nathan and Ian go really well together. Jonah is a good one too.
blogger / pineapple / 12381 posts
@Cherrybee: Oooh Jinx! I was saying Jonah at the same time you were!
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
@Mrs. Blue: What if you pick one name and Mr. Blue picks the other!! man... that would have solved so many problems between DH and I

Pulling my other boy name finalists from the list we had for Baby Grizz -
Archer
Beckett
Bennett
Brooks
Cohen
Ian
Isaiah
Isaac
Reed
Rhett
Tate
blogger / pomelo / 5361 posts
@NerdBee: That combo has made the list of potentials, but DH is worried Isaac is too common. I think it's fine as long as we can agree at this point!!
@Mrs. Pen: Each picking one name is a TERRIBLE idea: Mr. Blue's suggestions today were Ira and Waylon. I definitely need to maintain veto power.
From your original list, he really liked almost all of them, but loved the two that can be shortened to Finn, Gideon, & Lincoln. He's been obsessed with Finn or Lincoln for a while, so he ate that up!
@Cherrybee: @Mrs. Jacks: Jonah is nice--I'll have to run that one by DH. Cherry bee--if we could just switch continents all would be well!
