We have a 3 bedroom and no kids yet, so the two extras are an office and a guest room. If we had another unused room, it would probably wind up being my craft room or a library.

We have a furnished guest room and another bedroom that's technically my craft room. That extra room has some bookcases and a desk and all of DS' old stuff.

We have four bedrooms plus a bonus room and an office downstairs. We have a California king down there for guests (it's finished), plus I keep boxes there. Two of the rooms upstairs were guest room-one has a full and one had a twin and we also kept our bikes and winter clothes back in that closet. Now we're turning the guest room with the full bed into LO#2's nursery

Storage and we used it as a 2nd guest room with some random spare mismatched furniture.

Seriously we have this extra bedroom we have never known what to do with and we generally keep our house pretty tidy, but whenever we had an extra piece of furniture we didn't want to sell/toss or pretty much anything that didn't have a "home" we throw it in there. Picture Monica's secret closet from Friends.

We're moving in to a bigger house and will have 2 extra bedrooms. One will be a guest room. The other one... idk honestly. Probably just end up having nothing in it until baby #2.

We each have our own "offices." Mine is definitely a real office with bookcases and plugged in printer. His is the place that he houses his bachelor loveseat and chair, guitars & keyboard, and more books. Once we have a LO one of the two spaces will remain as an office. The comfy couch & chair will find a new home at Goodwill. We plan to reuse some of the existing office furniture for the baby. With the lost storage, we will just add more shelving into the consolidated office closet. For now, his "office" feels very much like useless, wasted space, but he loves having something that's all his. He even put one of his old cubicle name plates on the door.

We have four bedrooms outside of the master. One is an office and probably always will be, one is the baby's room, one is the guest room, and one is that weird room where anything without a home elsewhere ends up. If we have a second child, the guest room will become their bedroom, and the other spare room will become the guest room. Id love for that room to just be empty for the interim, but have to find homes for and get rid of the stuff in there first!

There's 2 of us in a 4 bedroom right now. 2 are just empty, and we have a guest room since we got a new bed, otherwise that one would be empty too!

We have 4 bedrooms and a playroom that functions as our playroom and shared offices (not such a great set up). The bedrooms are master, son's room, guest room and my dressing room.

We have a guest room and a room across from the nursery where I toss LO's things that aren't being used anymore. So basically his giant storage closet.

Our extra room is now kind of my dressing room. But if we have LO #2 it will be their room and if now it will be a guest room.

I'd leave it empty or use it for storage as PP's suggested. We have a 4 bedroom house and 1 DD but we had extra queen sized beds (one from DH and one from me) that are both under 5 yrs old so when we bought our king bed for the master we now have 2 furnished guest rooms. However, if we didn't have the extra beds we would have left them empty

We have a 4bedroom. When we just moved in the two extra was a guestroom and a office / guestroom. Now the one extra is a guestroom / office.

We have 4 bedrooms and are expecting our first. Besides the master, one bedroom is a guest room, one is an office, and one is a TV den. We're currently in the process of cleaning out the den to make it the nursery. If we have another child, this one will probably move into the guest room.
