When did it become apparent? LO is just about 9 months, and as his hair is getting a bit longer it looks like a slight curl might be coming in. It'll be interesting to see if he'll have straight hair like dad or curly like mom.
When did you know for sure you had a curly kid?

Around 11 months I started to notice the curl but its changing as she grows. It's getting more curly as it grows in.

when her hair started coming in around 7 months, she had curls around her ears. i don't know how curly it will be, but it was coarse from the beginning, which is the same as mine and DH's.

I was told babies with hair that sticks straight up will have curly hair. The theory seems like it might work for my friends' kids. Anybody know if there's any truth to that?

She started to get her curls in around 9 or 10 months and now she has a full head of curls at 19 months!
@Corduroy: my LO's hair actually laid flat and straight until it started to curl and now it sticks up all the time because of the curls. My nephew has hair that stood up and now it lays flat and stick straight.

C's started curling after her first birthday. I want to say 13-14 months is when her hair got long enough to curl. She's 23 months now and she has ringlets all over.

Chloe has curly hair and it was obvious when she was about 6 months. Her hair was long enough to notice the curls.

@Corduroy: That was true for us. DS was born with a mohawk that stood straight up.
At 5-6m it became apparent, when his hair on top starting to get thicker. At a year now, he has loose curls all over.

Hers is wavy, and anytime it would get wet or be in the humidity, it would start to curl (like mine). We knew when she was about 3 months.

@Corduroy: I've only seen that for very straight hair. It looks fluffy as it sticks up.
DS has curls/wavy hair. We noticed maybe around 9-10 months once it got long enough.

DD has wavy hair. It was evident probably around two months. I wouldn't say that it stuck up but it definitely didn't lay flat against her head.
