If your LO is on one nap a day, what do you consider a good nap?? A too short nap?
LO just napped about an hour and 20 minutes. I don't think that's awesome... But better than the 30 minute naps we used to get.

A good nap is 2 hours! But we don't usually get that - it's usually more like an hour and 30 minutes. But sometimes it's less than an hour.

Great is 2 hours but lately home and day care is more like 1.5 hours.

A good nap is anything longer than 1 hour, 15 minutes.
For some reason, 75 minutes has always been standard for both of my girls. I am surprised if they nap any longer.
Sometimes, my (almost) 3-year old will only nap for 45-55.
If my 17-month old takes a shorter nap (<1 hour), she ends up falling asleep later in the day, usually in the car.

Good naps is 2+ hours. Anything shorter than that is meh and usually means an earlier bedtime.

Same as above for a good nap. If it's under an hour, I consider it bad.

2 hours minimum for a good nap. Anything less and he's mister grumpy pants. He's napped up to 4 hours before and that was just wow!

At school if it's over an hour and a half I'm happy. At home it needs to be at least 2 hours, usually closer to 3

A good nap is 2 hours. If it's only 1.5 hours, that's okay, but anything less and she is a handful for the rest of the day.

2 hour nap is a good nap/what she needs. Anything less is too short and if it goes past 2.5 hours I start to wonder if she's sick!

Good: 2+ hrs
Okay: 1.5 hrs
Bad: Under 1.5 hrs

At 22 months, DD averages between 2-3 hours in the afternoon for her nap. I do check in on her if it is getting closer to 3, but sometimes she does need it!

1.5 is what we usually get for my 2 year old, which is okay, but 2 would be really nice and what he usually does at daycare. hmph.

Good nap - 1 hr 40 min on up to 3 hours. Not so good nap - 1 hour or less. Anything in between, just kind of eh..

An good nap is 1.5 hours.
An okay nap is 1 hour
Anything under an hour and we have a super cranky toddler until bedtime and I drink a lot of wine after he goes to sleep.

@avivoca: Ditto! We've been getting some 2.5 hr naps on the weekend and she's just so much happier after those than she is with a shorter nap

@lovehoneybee: haha exactly this! Normal is an hour and a half, it's pretty standard for her and it's fine. 2 hours is wonderful. An hour or less and it's not good, she will be cranky all afternoon and possibly go to bed on the earlier side.
No nap, or five to fifteen minute car nap?
pomelo / 5469 posts
Normal is 2-2.5hrs, 3 is awesome, anything under an hour would be awful.
