I'm 5'7" and DH is 6'3"--we're pretty sure she's going to be tall, but I hope not as tall as DH! I would prefer it if she were under 6".

I'm 5'3 and DH is 6'1. I hope he won't be short like me but would be perfectly okay with him being tall. But if he ends up being short that would be okay too--my FIL is 5'6, shorter than my MIL by several inches and one of the most confident men I know, so he'd have a great role model.

I'm 5'9 he's 6'. I hope she's under 6' just to make clothes shopping easy for her. I'm pretty sure she'll be tall like us though

I'm 5'2 and DH is 5'11. If we have our own biological kids, I'm sure they will be at least taller than me. If they are the same height as me, I'll be fine with that as well.

I'm 5'0, and DH is 5'8. I'm totally okay with DD being a little shorty.

I'm 5'5 and DH is 5'9, I don't really care how tall our LO is but DH definitely wants him to be taller than 5'9.

I'm 5'5 and DH is 5'10. I'd be happy if DD was the same height as me, but I wouldn't want her to be too tall. We both would like DS to be taller than DH - I'd be happy with 5'11-6'0, but DH wants him to be at least 6'2 (I think he has basketball NBA star dreams on his mind).

I'm 5'4" and my DH is 5'5". I hope my DS will be taller than both of us. It's said that a child's predicted adult height is double his 2 year old height, so his predicted adult height is 5'8". That's good for me....but I'm really hoping taller. Lol.

I would be fine if DD is somewhere around mine or DH's height (I'm 5'6" and DH is 5'8"). I'd like for DS to be taller than 5'8" because DH has always been annoyed with his height. DS is in the 17th percentile for height at 4 so he probably won't be much taller than DH.

We're both tall (me 5'10", him 6'1") so pretty sure we'll have tall kids!

HA! Well I'm 5'2 and my husband is 5'5 so, no, we definitely was our son to be taller than us! My husband did alright for himself as a short guy (being in the military helped I'm sure) but he definitely doesn't want Owen to have to deal with the stigma of being a man on the shorter side. If we have a girl, I'd be okay with her being our height. We both have siblings that are on the average/tall side of the spectrum so hopefully those gense will get passed on to our kids.

Both DH and I are shorties. (5'3" and 5'5") This kid is not getting a basketball scholarship!

(On the other hand, my sister is 5'2" and her boyfriend is....6'10". I can't wait to see how tall my niece and nephew get!)

Somehow I added the words "with someone" to this question, and I was like, "Why would I care about the height of the person D ends up with? Ha ha ha. So to answer your actual question, yes, I'd be ok with it. Well - I'd be ok with D ending up the same height as Hubs (6'), but I'd feel badly if he ended up my height (5'3") - he'd be super short for a guy!

no for me, i'm only 5'4", but DH is 6"3 so if DS were his height, i'd be okay with that.

I am 6' and DH is 6'3"...and she is in the 98th percentile for height. So I am pretty sure she will be my height, at least. Hopefully by then, clothes will be easier to shop for!

My husband is 6'7" and our son is already soooo long ! I'm ok with him being tall!

I'm 5'8 and DH is 6'0 so we'd be happy if all our children were our heights or even taller. As a girl I don't think I'd be comfortable being much taller so I hope if I have girls they'll be right around my height or within an inch or two.

I'm 5'11 and DH is 6'1. I'm sure we won't have any shorties! I have always felt kind of awkward about my height, especially in school. I guess for DD's sake I'd be happy if she weren't quite as tall as I am. Even now I'd like to give up a few inches. We get what we get, though, and I'll be so careful not to pass my insecurities on to her!

I would want them to be taller but as long as my son is not at my height then is be okay. We're 5'2 and 5'9.
