I'm only 5'4, so I really hope DS is taller than I am! My husband is 5'10 so I think we'd both be happy if DS was a similar height.

I am 5'9" and dh is 6'1" and I would be fine with lo's being my height but I hope they're not taller! It is hard finding clothes that fit right when you're tall.

I'm 5'4 and so is my mom. Is be happy if lo was too, but she's 90th percentile for height so she'll probably be taller then me. I don't care either way.

DH and I are both tall and were always happy to be tall. I hope that our children are at least the same height as we are or even taller.. we have weird hopes that our kids will be athletes as we are both really into sports.
ETA: I'm 6'0" and DH is 6'2"

I'm pretty sure both of my kids are going to tower over me. Both of them are at the top of the charts for height, and I'm only 5'2", so I figure they'll surpass me in height around middle school. I like to joke that my husband and I breed giants.

So interesting! I'm a smidge under 5'7" and DH is 6'2". A daughter my height, or son his height, would be fine. I think a son my height might wish to be taller, and a daughter his height might have a hard time finding clothes, etc. But generally I think we're just taller than average people and our children will probably mirror us.

If DS is the same height as hubby, that's fine, but if he's the same height as me, I'd feel bad/sad for him since I'm only 5'2".
