@Foodnerd81: I went to one when we were just starting to think about buying and the realtor got so angry with us for "wasting her time" when we were not actually going to buy the house. I really liked it and wanted to start the process ASAP so we could put in an offer prior to that encounter.

We went to the open house for the house across the street. It's the exact same house and I wanted to see what upgrades they made and how much it was listed for. My husband thought we should lie and say we were looking, but I was honest and said we live across the street!
