Do you care about how they are set up? I like the washer on the left and the dryer on the right! I wasn't home when they were delivered and DH told the delivery guys it didn't matter how they were set up...currently the washer is on the right and the dryer is on the left. I told him he needs to flip them!

Haha! The same thing happened to me...they set it up a week or two ago and washer is on right, dryer on left. For some reason, it just seemed ridiculous to me that they wouldn't do it the other way. But we just left it...

@Leialou: with ours, we can unscrew the doors to be on either side. I get what you mean, haha that's why we just figured that out!

I wanted the doors to open away from each other and they don't. The way our laundry room is set up there is no way we could flip them either. It is frustrating!!!!

@autumnlove: it's so funny you posted this! When I saw your new ones on instagram, the first thing I thought was, 'oh that's gonna be a pain in the butt to move laundry over with the dryer opening that way!' haha, def make DH switch 'em if he can!

Our's our set up washer on the left, utility tub in the middle, and then the dryer is on the right side of the utility tub. I wish they were right next to each other though!

In our different houses they were arranged based on where the hook ups were. Sometimes the washer was on the right and sometimes it was on the left. It never seemed to matter much to me.

In our apartment, it's all about where the hook ups are. Washer is on the left, and dryer is on the right.

Same! Washer on left and dryer on right. It would bother me tremendously if they were switched.

I prefer that the dryer be. On the right and the doors open. As it is, it flipped and we can only switch the doors on the washer.

I don't care which sides, but I agree that the doors should open toward the outside. Sadly, ours don't either. Maybe I'll get DH to look into whether the dryer door can be screwed in the other way...

Ours are set up so annoyingly - with the doors opening up against each other! But there was no other way with the way the drain pipes or something was set up (the install guy said). And our "laundry room" is technically just big enough for the two machines and is in between 2 doors (for the garage and then into the house). I've been meaning to figure out how to change the door opening direction for 2 years, but I guess we just deal with it.

Ours are currently set up across of me each other and it works out well, but if they were side by side, I'd want them so the doors opened away from each other.

Our washer is on the left, dryer on the right. That's what I'm used to, and it works well because of how the door to the dryer opens.

I do prefer my washer to be on the left, but in our house we didn't have a choice: the washer hookups are on the right side and the dryer vent is in the floor on the left. Sigh. I've gotten used to it, but next time I'm getting stackables.

We didn't get to choose how they're set up (apartment living at its finest) but our washer is on the left, dryer on the right. This is how its always been since I was a kid. My OCD would explode if I was forced to have a different arrangement.
