Recently found 2 great maxi dresses at Target that fit great! I'm only 5 ft! So I can guarantee they won't drag on the ground w/o any heels!

Awesome! I'm also five feet and wear the heck out of maxi dresses. When they're too long, I'll just belt them and/or wear wedges.

@deerylou: I hate heels so it's been such a problem for me! I used to want some so badly that I was almost willing to just bite the bullet and get some hemmed!

@snowjewelz: I vastly prefer sandals and flats, but I've been successful in finding a few pairs of genuinely comfortable wedges. I'm also chesty (same as you) so I feel that I can get away with being short and still wearing maxis. The fabric that would otherwise be dragging on the ground just has to fill out, up top, haha. I like the links you posted, though. I've had good luck with target maxi skirts and dresses.

@deerylou: Hahaha that is true! The stretch in the chest might just make up for our lack of height lol! I'm happy w/ both these dresses so far! I don't mind Target clothes at all even tho sometimes they're a hit or miss.

Ah, I wish they didn't have the waistbands where they do! I'm 5'1" and have never found a maxi dress that worked. But I HATE waistbands that hit in the middle of my belly. Boooooo.

@allison: Aww. This one's not too bad. I have a bit of a bump so the elastic rests on top of it. And for the gray one the band hits just below chest.

LOOOVE the second one! It's so strange...I'm 5'2" and every maxi dress I've bought has fit fine!
