Gargle with salt water and take honey to help your throat. It will coat it and give you some relief.

This homemade/natural cold medicine is not very tasty, but it works.
In a shot glass put:
1 T apple cider vinegar
1 T honey
1 pinch cayenne
2 pinches ground ginger or 1/4t fresh mi cropland
Fill the rest with hot water and stir
Do it like a shot three or four times a day. Maybe have a little honey on a spoon and stick it in your mouth right after the shot.

Cepacol lozenges. They don't taste great (I don't mind the honey flavor) and completely numb your throat. I hate the sprays because they only give a few seconds relief, but the lozenges work the whole time they are in your mouth.

I'm pregnant and a few weeks ago I had a sinus infection and a fever for 4 days. My ob prescibred me an antibiotic. I swear it worked miracles bc my fever was not budging without it. Call your OB if you're really miserable and see what they could do. I wasn't really sure I wanted any meds but my OB said the antibiotic was safe and said it's better to treat the infection and bring he fever down.

1/4 cup of honey
Squeeze a lemon and mix with honey
Microwave for 30 secs.

Also drinking some tea ( Roobios tea is caffeine-free and safe in pregnancy) might help.

Aside from pp's recommendations, my #1solution for a sore throat is a humidifier 24/7. I even have one in my classroom and turn it on at least once a week preventatively. Most of my sore throats are due to talking too much and/or the dry AZ air, but.... worth a shot.

Robitussin was approved by my OB. I took that plus gargled with salt water and it made a huge difference.
