So I have a bad cold-I don’t think it’s the flu because I don’t have a fever/achiness but I feel like crap. I’m supposed to host a small and casual (7 people) baby shower at my house tomorrow. My husband says I should still do it and just keep my distance from everyone since it would be so rude to cancel. They could probably do it at someone else’s place since it’s just a potluck but I would feel bad. That said, I also don’t want everyone to be annoyed that I let them (especially the pregnant woman) into my germy house. Thoughts? What would you do?

Personally I’d let the guest of honor know you’re feeling under the weather but still willing to host the shower. Let her decide if it should be moved or not as long as you feel up to doing it.

@MrsJBeeG: @ALV91711: Thanks! I asked and she wants to move it. I feel so bad! I was excited to host and there isn’t another great option but oh well. I do feel pretty crappy so maybe it’s for the best.

ETA: now my 2 year old is sick too which I feel awful about but good thing I canceled!
