Any ideas on where to get some inexpensive and comfortable ballet flats?
I have one pair and need to get some more summer shoes. I usually wear flip-flops to work but I need something more workplace friendly.

Targets aren't bad and I've heard Payless has some good ones this season

I've gotten some really comfy ones from payless. The American Eagle brand that they carry have been comfy for my feet. Sometimes they're a little narrow, but they come in wide sizes too, so they don't pinch on the sides at all.

Cheap flats from Charlotte Russe, Target, ect. BUT the kicker is to go to Aldo and by their insoles...they are 8-10 dollars a pair and it feels like walking on air, I wear them with almost every pair of shoes

I always wear ballet flats that are around $100+ until the other day I was at Target. My SIL wanted to check out some of their shoes, and I saw a really cute pair of flats and they were so comfortable. I'll never buy expensive flats again. They're as comfortable as expensive ones, I bought 4 pairs in different colors and designs.

I wear a pair I got at the JCrew outlet a lot! I think they're actually more comfy than the expensive regular jCrew ones. I also think Gap has some comfy flats and they're always on sale.

I have a lot of flats from Old Navy! They are usually under $20 and Old Navy is always running some kind of promotion with 15-30% off your order. Plus they have free shipping over $50.

I have a pair of Dr. Scholl's brand ones that I got at DSW-- they are not quite as cute as some of the others, but they actually have arch support, which is unheard of in ballet flats. I'm guessing there were around $50 there. I actually had a pair that I wore to death, and bought an identical pair at DSW-- literally put the new ones on in the store and threw out the old nasty ones on my way out. I liked them that much.
That said, they sometimes irritate my heels, especially in the beginning of the summer. I need to rough up my feet again!

@kiddosc: I love AE but haven't been in the store in a couple months. I'll have to check them out.
@LuLu Mom: Great tip on the Aldo insoles. I'll definitely get some!
@mamabear57: I was on Target's website but before I buy them online, I'll check them out in the store first.
@shopaholic: I don't know if I have a Jcrew outlet nearby. There is one near my hometown and I'll be home in June.
@hellobeeboston: I'll check out Kohl's! Thanks!
@lindseykaye: I'll check out Old Navy, too. Thanks!
@Foodnerd81: I love DSW. I'll check them out, too.
Looks like I'll be shoe shopping this weekend!! Thanks everyone!

I usually wear Target flats because I go through them too fast to pay more than $40. DSW usually has a good selection + coupons, too.
@LuLu Mom YES to inserts! They are the best. Haven't tried the Aldo ones, but need to now.

I just got a pair from Payless and wore them today with no irritation or anything! It's the DexFlex brand by Dexter. Foam insoles too!

I have a couple of really comfortable pairs from Old Navy. They don't last that long but are super cheap.

@bluestriped bee: These are the ones I have. They have an online sale right now too. Extra 30% off with code: SALE30. I think they are more comfy because of the rubber soles.
