What is a cheesy umbrella stroller?
A lot of parents at our daycare use this:

@autumnlove: haha the ones where it's just thin fabric and the poor kid looks like they're sitting in a really uncomfortable hammock!

@regberadaisy: Ahhhhhhh, ok! The ones that are really tiny!

@autumnlove: the one you linked to is on nbd now for like $32. Having seen it in person, how is it? The only concern I have is that space in the canopy. Do you know how the wheels are? Does it look like it'll do OK over snow?

@regberadaisy: I'm not sure! I only see them parked outside the daycare entrance.

@regberadaisy: we have the first years ignite and have been really happy with it. It was about $50 on amazon, feels sturdy, folds easily and has survived airplane trips. I am on my phone so it is a pain to link but let me know if you have questions.

We have the first years one also and it's a great cheap but not cheaply made umbrella. It has storage at the top for keys/drink and space underneath. LO like it and its way better than like a 20$ one.

Really like our ignite stroller. I see it on nobetterdeal pretty frequently too.

I have a baby trend euro ride. It's like an umbrella stroller on steroids - has a reclining feature I liked. Got it at target for $100. Another I looked at and liked was a jeep brand at Walmart for about $50. They had a few fun colors.

My mom got one at a consignment store to keep in her car. That way you can get a nicer one for less money.

DS likes his 'cheesy' stroller
consignment sale 16-18th...they might have something reasonable!

@sarbear: your's is so far from cheesy!
@artbee: I'm looking on local resale groups too. But I can get the Jet brand new for $25 from NBD so I might go that route.

@regberadaisy: haha no, we have a legit umbrella stroller as well

@MamaCate: @Mrs. High Heels: @matador84: Just got the ignite from NBD for $34, shipping included! Thanks.

We bought the Chicco c6 for our Chicago trip and several upcoming trips coming up. It does not fully recline but it does have a 2 recline level so it's not completely upright.
I love how lightweight it is (11 pounds), folds up easily, and has a HUGE canopy. There's even a smaller basket underneath that fits a small bag (it's kind of tiny). It comes with an outer bag that you can fold up and put the stroller in which I loved when we took it on the airplane. We bought it off of Amazon for $70 and have no complaints.
At 7 months, LO slept in it well on our Chicago trip and we look forward to take it on our big international trip coming up.

@regberadaisy: Glad you got the Ignite. I'm just seeing this thread and that First Years one from Amazon is one we have. Definitely no bueno in snow!

@mrsjazz: wait, do you have the Jet or Ignite?

@regberadaisy: I have the Jet. The Ignite wheels look so much better and it has better handles than the Jet. We might get rid of our Jet and get that one instead.

I have the First Years Ignite also and it's great! We've only used it a few times, but I think for the $$ it's a great deal. It seems very sturdy, has good storage underneath, and seems to be comfortable for LO.

@mrsjazz: good, I was going to be bummed if you said the Ignite sucks in the snow.
