Argh, I expected AF to be here yesterday. I am ready to move on and start trying again!

@kentuckygirl: I'm sorry hun! Hope she arrives really soon!
@bluestripedbee: Now that I'm pregnant, DH certainly wouldn't be involved, but he might've at least read posts before. He's not a huge online guy but for an escape from my craziness he might have.

@kentuckygirl: I hope she shows up soon! When I had cysts, I had to go in for a baseline ultrasound to make sure that they were gone. Do you have to do that? I can't remember, are you doing another IUI or going to IVF?

@kentuckygirl: It gets so frustrating when AF can't seem to get on our schedule! I hope she gets here soon!

@marionberry: @bluestriped bee: @sweetooth: I couldn't see DH taking part in an online discussion...he seems to have other people IRL he's discussed infertility with for various reasons, though.

@spaniellove: You're no fun! Jk. I know exactly what you mean. I'm not that strong though. I charted and symptom spotted. Lesson from me - if you start bawling because you're sure you're not pregnant it may be a bfp!

@marionberry: Oh don't worry I have been googling the craziest stuff!

@spaniellove: HAHA that's nothing compared to what you google when you're pregnant! I promise.

Starting to get antsy and wondering how I'm going to wait till Wednesday!

  12. Mrs.Someone

@spaniellove: You could test How many DPO are you considered now?

  13. spaniellove

    honeydew / 7916 posts

@Mrs.Someone: Basically 10dpo, since I'm 6dp4dt. But I'm afraid if it's BFN I'll be stressing and upset about it for days and wishing I'd waited.

  14. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@spaniellove: I would wait. It's still early. It was so hard for me to wait but when I got my beta done I took a pregnancy test later that day and you could barely see the line. You don't want to be stressing that it didn't happen while it still could have.

  15. spaniellove

    honeydew / 7916 posts

@marionberry: I have heard so many times that IVF nurses say not to test before a beta, that a lot of IVF patients feel absolutely nothing and are convinced they're not pregnant when they are. On the other hand, I know being on progesterone and estrogen supplements can do crazy things to your body. So I guess the best thing to do is just wait.

  16. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@spaniellove: 5 days will go by quickly, even if it doesn't feel like it now. Stay busy and that will help. Just remember, once you find out it worked you're back to weeks of waiting again. Yuck!

  17. kentuckygirl

    pear / 1786 posts

@spaniellove: I can only imagine that the urge to know is even greater with an IVF cycle, but I agree that (essentially) 10 DPER is early. Plus the possibility of the HCG shot showing up could lead to inaccurate results. Good luck staying strong until Wednesday.

@marionberry: @justdarling: @spaniellove: Thanks, probably the only time I'll be wishing for AF to arrive. Crazy, silly me took an hpt this morning on the extremely unlikely chance that I O'd and got PG with no meds. Of course it was BFN. This is the longest unmedicated cycle I've had in 18 months, but maybe that's a good thing since I am getting closer to a more normal 28 day cycle. I am just anxious to get started again.

@Spaniellove: perhaps for a distraction, you should research about puppies! I went to the place where we got our puppy to help the lady give 3 week old puppies baths and take their pictures the other day. Great fun.

I promise you all I do think about other things than puppies!

@spaniellove: Yep, I agree, too early to test! Do you have any fun plans for the weekend?

    I caved this morning, and...BFN.

  22. Happygal

    pomelo / 5000 posts

@SpanielLove: I said a bad word here. I'm so sorry. Not a good way to start the morning. How are you feeling? I hate it when people say "it's not over until it's over!" BUT.....in this case, based on others' previous comments, it does sound like it is too early, yes?

  23. spaniellove

    honeydew / 7916 posts

@Happygal: I don't know. I'm trying not to think too much about it, but I did finally look at what is involved in adopting from Korea - as much as I have not wanted to adopt (for personal reasons). One more IVF cycle would be a stretch for us, and we definitely don't have the $25-30,000 that a Korean adoption costs so I just don't know where we would go from here.

ETA: I'm also unsure about going ahead with another IVF cycle, because if that also doesn't work we'll have blown $30,000 and have no options left to ever become parents.

@Spaniellove: I hope you this BFN is just due to being too early. One step at a time, right? What are your husband's thoughts at this point?

  25. spaniellove

    honeydew / 7916 posts

@Happygal: I haven't had a chance to talk to him about it yet - he's out on a long run. But now I'm more confused. After my earlier post I remembered that I also tested on an OSOM which supposedly doesn't give evaps and is more sensitive, but you have to leave it for a long time. So I went to check on it/throw it out and found this:

@spaniellove: I have no experience with that test type but I see a second line!!

  27. spaniellove

    honeydew / 7916 posts

I don't know if the test is just so sensitive that it's picking up the trigger (after 13 days)...I did another one a while ago and got the same line. Guess I'll just have to see if it gets lighter or darker tomorrow?

  28. Happygal

    pomelo / 5000 posts

I'm with Ladybee: no idea about that type of test, but definitely see a line. Okay, on pins and needles now!

  29. brady80

    kiwi / 589 posts

@spaniellove: I think the trigger will be out of your system after 13 days. I had a faint line at the equivalent of 10 dpo. Have you used a frer? I think they are the most accurate and sensitive. Good luck!! Keeping my fingers crossed for you

  30. Shutterbug

    grapefruit / 4703 posts

@spaniellove: 13 days seems awfully late to still have hcg from the trigger in your system. I'm cautiously excited for you!!!

  31. tequiero21

    honeydew / 7968 posts

@spaniellove: how many dpt are you? I tested positive starting 10! I didn't test earlier! But that looks like a positive! Hoping for the best!

  32. spaniellove

    honeydew / 7916 posts

    @tequiero21: 7dp4dt so basically 11dpo right?

@brady80: I also used a Wondfo, but...nothing. Saving the FRER for when I think it will definitely show a second line!

  33. ShootingStar

    coconut / 8472 posts

@spaniellove: That totally looks positive to me! Line is thick (instead of all the dye collecting at one side) and it seems to have color. Get a clear blue digital - those things picked up my CP where my HCG never went over 6. Fingers crossed for you!

  34. Mrs. Pickle

@spaniellove: I see a line too. I hope it gets darker and you have a clearer answer tomorrow!

  35. ladybee

    grapefruit / 4079 posts

@spaniellove: my wondfo looked like that. Like in the right light with the right contrast I saw a line. The next morning I used a FRER and a digi and got a clear positive. Fx for you!!

  36. spaniellove

    honeydew / 7916 posts

@MrsCB: @Leialou: @ladybee: Thanks guys! I'm trying not to get my hopes up...we'll see tomorrow!

  37. brady80

    kiwi / 589 posts

@spaniellove: I never got good results on a wondfo. The frer's would have a dark line before the wondfo even had a squinter of a line!! Can't wait to see the frer tomorrow!!

  38. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@spaniellove: I told you not to test lol but I do see the second line. Can you google the average day the trigger is gone? I'd think it would be by now. My wondfo barely showed but a frer was much more clear. Maybe buy a few and try them each day until your beta? Really crossing my fingers for you! Would you guys consider fostering to adopt? It's the cheapest way to go I've heard.

  39. ladybee

    grapefruit / 4079 posts

@spaniellove: something to keep in mind, a wondfo didn't show anything but a squinter for me and my hCG was a 94.
