@spaniellove: everything I've heard/read suggests that the trigger should be out of your system by 13 days. That looks very, very promising for you Sending lots of good thoughts your way!

@spaniellove: I see a line! Cannot wait until trmw! Fwiw, (I know it wasn't trigger) my dollar store test showed barely anythin and I had a solid line in a frer.

@spaniellove: hmmm, I'm going to have to look up when I actually transferred.... When is your blood test? I know for sure I was scheduled to go in tues, but I started that fri before.... I want to say I had to go in day 12 from transfer? But I tested maybe 8dpt and 10dpo?

Btw, day 13 is long enough for hcg to be out of system!!! I am SO rooting for you! I remember testing on wondfo and got a faint line and I thought that didn't mean anything cuz I thought it had to be as dark as the test line.... But any squinter is a good thing! Crossing fingers and toes!

@bluestriped bee: I don't really feel like moving on to injectables was a decision I made. It was what I was told my next protocol would be by my doctor. I'm fine with it because it felt like Clomid had me ovulating too quickly, without much chance for follicle development. So with injectables, the hope was that we could monitor me more closely, and adjust the injections to help produce more mature follicles before ovulation. Unfortunately, it looks like I still only have one follicle that wants to get to a mature size on my right side. I'm pretty bummed today. Waiting for my news on whether I trigger tonight or tomorrow. I feel like I've only had one mature follicle for all 3 of my IUI cycles. I'm kind of already over this. I need a break. This cycle with injectables and so much monitoring has really taken its toll on me.

@marionberry: @bluestripedbee: I doubt my husband would participate in an online community. I think that Mr. Bee tried to start something for men with the DADS section, but it doesn't seem to be too active.

@kentuckygirl: I hope AF has arrived for you by now and you're on to the next cycle with success

@spaniellove: It was funny to see your progression last week from just trying to take it easy to testing. I'm sure it's so hard to wait for the results right now. I'm hoping that this is it for you! I totally see a line on that test

@Happygal: I think I'm going to switch to thinking about puppies more and less about trying to conceive.

    @sweetooth: thanks!

AF has finally arrived and I go to the RE today to see if we can move forward this cycle!

@SpanielLove: i'm going to be watching like a hawk for updates today!

@Kentuckygirl: I told my DH that I thought the time when you know you are not pregnant and you're waiting for your period is probably the worst part of the whole cycle. I'm glad AF has arrived and it's onward and upward!

@Sweetooth: I support your puppy decision : ) I don't know if I answered you before, but we have a German Shepherd.

Alright so I don't really have anything exciting or definitive either way...I ended up posting about whether FRERs give evaps because I got faint lines on two tests this morning. Except after the time limit I wasn't so sure if the lines had color anymore, and I didn't want to be disappointed by evap lines.

Honestly I'm worried because I know it can take a while to get a good line, but I could wake up tomorrow and not get any lines and it could be over. Or the longer it takes, the less of a chance I might have (I mean, why isn't my HCG going up?).

  16. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@spaniellove: Do not worry about the color of the lines. Mine took forever to get darker and I had a perfectly healthy baby. Some babies just emit much less hcg than others. As long as you're getting lines I think this is a good sign.

  17. spaniellove

    honeydew / 7916 posts

@marionberry: I was so obsessive and looked up the sensitivity of Wondfo, FRER, and OSOM and then looked at Betabase. I'm feeling okay now.

@spaniellove: I'm glad you're feeling better. You just have to hang in there two more days.

@mrs.someone: when are you testing? Your chart looks pretty good and I think you ovulated a day or two earlier than is marked.

  21. ladybee

    grapefruit / 4079 posts

@spaniellove: I have a feeling those are BFPs and not evap lines. Wednesday will be here soon. Could you call and fill them in and see if you could go in today or tomorrow?

  22. Mrs.Someone

    pomelo / 5228 posts

@spaniellove: Cautiously optimistic for you! Hope tomorrow brings clear happy news

@marionberry: I'll come clean... I broke down and tested at 7dpo (because of the earlier O possibility) and have tested each day since then (11dpo today). BFNs of course Haven't yet tested today, but I plan to. I'm so very convinced this month! If I hadn't taken OPKs I'd agree that I O'd 2 days earlier, but I think its impossible to get a positive OPK 2 days after O, right?

  23. Shutterbug

    grapefruit / 4703 posts

@spaniellove: I think 3 evap lines in a row means they're not evap lines. And maybe your hcg is doubling, but from like 2, to 4, to 8 so it isn't making an obvious line yet. I've still got all my appendages crossed for you!

  24. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@Mrs.Someone: did you get negative opk's the days before the positive? If so, then your date must be right. Good luck!

  25. Mrs.Someone

    pomelo / 5228 posts

@marionberry: Yep, I got negatives the other days and my CM matched up.

I just scheduled our first appointment with a RE. I don't know why I was so nervous. When the receptionist asked, "What is this regarding?" I sounded like a twelve year old...."ummmm....fertility?" We'll be heading in on the 21st.

Did your SO go with you for the first appointment? It seems like they'll mainly be interested my history for the first visit.

  27. tequiero21

    honeydew / 7968 posts

@spaniellove: I thought evap lines were lines that popped up after the testing window.... Not lines that disappeared.....no? Don't want to give you false hope, but your tests look GOOD! Really hoping for the best!

  28. Shutterbug

    grapefruit / 4703 posts

@Happygal: congrats! I have my first RE appointment next week. They told me DH should come if he can, because they'll want history from the two of us. I was also very awkward on the phone... "I'm calling being I've been trying to get pregnant and, um, I'm not getting pregnant, and so, um... yeah" basically. LOL

  29. spaniellove

    honeydew / 7916 posts

@Happygal: I think they all ask some variation of that question and it's always awkward! Someone did clarify whether it was for infertility or endocrinology. DH has always gone with me and although in our case we were talking about male factor it was definitely both of us involved in the conversation. You might feel more supported having your SO there and going through it with you!

  30. sweetooth

    nectarine / 2705 posts

@Happygal: I would second @spaniellove about having your SO there for support, and for him to feel like a part of the process. My husband had paperwork to fill out for the first appointment, and I'm glad he was able to absorb some of the information that my doctor went over. It was a lot to take in. It also helps because then he is able to talk through the details of steps involved because he's informed. Hope you have a great first appointment!

@Shutterbug: I hope you have a great first appointment too!

  31. Happygal

    pomelo / 5000 posts

Thanks everyone. I'll bring DH along and he can hear about my menstrual cycles and all. I am not embarrassed to talk to doctors about this stuff, but he is super modest and shy. He's going to die a million deaths, I'm sure.

@Shutterbug: let me know how your first appointment goes! We can compare notes.

  32. BSB

hostess / wonderful apple seed / 16729 posts

@Happygal: My DH went with me for my first appt. I wanted him to be included. Also, we thought there were male fertility issues so I wanted the DH to talk to the dr if he had any questions.

  33. BSB

hostess / wonderful apple seed / 16729 posts

@sweetooth: I'm going for my day 10 ultrasound tomorrow. Going off of last month, my follicles were large enough to trigger on day 10 so it sounds like we will be TWW buddies again.

  34. spaniellove

    honeydew / 7916 posts

@Happygal: My DH is very shy too but after me going to his urologist and him having to sit there while watching other men with their hands up my privates we've become much more open about things! I no longer feel bad leaving boxes of pads lying around the home, and he talks to people about IF. It's so much better to be a team than to potentially feel lonely or bitter or guilty.

@bluestriped bee: Hope your ultrasound tomorrow looks good!!

I don't know why my HCG levels are so low but OSOM seems to be the only test that works for me right now. Hopefully this photo won't be gigantic:

    grapefruit / 4703 posts

@spaniellove: ok that last one is for sure a BFP. I think your HCG so low because you're 2 days before your scheduled beta! But it's looking like good news! You're making me want to go buy some of those OSOM tests.

  37. spaniellove

    honeydew / 7916 posts

@Shutterbug: It was really freaking expensive for a box of 25 but I've been saving them so now I can test as often as I want! As opposed to the packs of 2 tests that I have to use so sparingly.

  38. sweetooth

    nectarine / 2705 posts

@bluestriped bee: I finally got my phone call with the results from this morning. Looks like one more night of injections for me, and then I trigger tomorrow night. So if tomorrow is your day too, we're definitely 2WW buddies! Maybe we should do something different this time, like a fertility dance every morning and night What that dance looks like? I do not know. It could be something like the electric slide. Or you could just turn on your favorite music and shake it

@mrscb: are you about a week ahead of us? Hope you're doing well! It turns out I have one follicle right now measuring at 18.4 and one at 13.6. So hopefully one more night of Bravelle and the trigger will help it grow, grow, grow! I hope yours did too!

@spaniellove: How exciting to see two lines! I hope I get to see two lines one day too. I'm still thinking lots of positive thoughts for you!

  40. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@spaniellove: last test looks great and darker than the others which is fabulous. At these times your hcg is so low anyway. At my beta it was only 32 I think. So excited for your beta Wednesday!
