We've been told we're having a girl 2 times now, but all of the horror stories out there have me totally paranoid! In the end, we both just really want a healthy baby and will be happy either way, but I'm so afraid of having the nursery done and all of that and wind up bringing home a boy! And it's so hard to keep things neutral when there's so many cute things out there that are boy/girl specific! Someone tell me I'm a paranoid spaz....

I was totally skeptical! It wasn't until LM was out of the womb did I stop fretting. Our OB thought I was nuts because I always asked and it was because I had heard the same horror stories! I just wanted to be sure.

No. But you can clearly see on our US that there is no little boy parts! I think I am more trusting because I had a boy first, so I can compare the two US, and they are WAY different looking!

It is a little bit of a concern to me. I am going to try to keep things as gender neutral as possible anyways, so that if we are blessed with a 2nd baby and it is the other sex that we'll still be set up. It would sure be a shocker for the gender to be 'wrong'....but not the end of the world. and I guess if you keep telling yourself that it could be wrong, then you are better prepared. But really, the chance of it being wrong is super low.

Hadn't occurred to me until this weekend when my dad was obsessing over whether it was right or not. My husband and I both read animal ultrasounds regularly, so neither of us are worried still, but I had never thought of it being wrong based on what we saw during each of the ultrasounds.

I hadn't really worried about the ultrasound but I won't buy those gender prediction kits because I do worry about the accuracy of those!!

I also went a little crazy worrying about that. We had a girl, and my favorite color is pink so naturally her room and wardrobe was full of pink. And everything was opened, washed, and therefore non returnable. First thing I did was double check that she had girly parts when she came out!

I mean... yeah, a bit. I had my u/s at 16+4, which is pretty early.
It does make me feel better that she had her legs wide open and there were definitely no little boy parts. I had my anatomy scan last week and she had her legs closed tight though. I was hoping for a little confirmation, but I didn't get it.

I worried about it too. I made the ultrasound tech confirm baby was still a girl during both ultrasounds I had after finding out the gender.

So far, we have had 3 ultrasounds confirming she is a girl but I started worrying after our baby shower...we received PINK everything!

I wasn't worried about it until I saw this... Boys run in my husband's family though so it's very probable that the ultrasound is right. Plus every time the needle test has been done on me it's said boy.
If he comes home a she though, I certainly will not complain even if the hubs does!

I am very worried about it. I had one ultrasound last week where they told me it as a girl. but I am going back in 2 weeks and will double check again then. I havent told anyone its a girl yet because I'm worried they might be wrong
