I live just outside winnipeg and am a big hockey fan.
I used to use the handle missjets - before we got them back because I missed them and then I got married so it just seemed appropriate to use mrsjets. It just happens that that both happened in 2011.

While I do loveeee me some tacos, my name comes from one of my old students...he thought (with his 'clever' 15 year old sense of humor) that Mrs. Taco was better than my actual last name, which has the same beginning and ending sound.
He was one of my favorite students (one of those big pains the butt that you hate to love) and the only one that was 'allowed' to call me it

HLK is short for HeatherlovesKenny. It's what my wedding photographer nicknamed our engagement shoot which I thought was fine on Weddingbee but I didn't want my name posted everywhere after awhile of being on Hellobee so I changed it.

Mae was always my favorite girl's name (and is also my grandma's middle name), but it doesn't sound right with our last name and also my husband doesn't like it. So when I signed up here I thought I should use it so I'd at least get to use it somewhere, if not on a kid.

Mine's from my favorite yarn brand "Cascade." It was also my pregnant anon name on WB which was "cascadecherub." Cascade cherub is an awesome yarn for knitting baby blankets. So, that's the name. I switched it to "cascademom" as my main one for Internet privacy.

This is one of my favorite threads!!! I call my DH Honey and he calls me Bee. DH's nickname for me has always been Bee (short for baby) since we met and I loved it from day one. So I just paired it with my first name.

I've always loved anything sparkly and someone close to me called me a magpie because of it. When I stumbled upon HB I'd just made a Pinterest board for jewelry I liked called "magpie" and so it was fresh in my mind. I've thought about changing it to something more meaningful, but I can't come up with anything good so I've just left it

I bought DH a birthday card this year that sang the song " Bushel and a Peck" and LO was so smitten with it that he carried the card around for days until it was ruined. Now, I like to sing it to him when we are getting him dressed for bed.

Mine came from me calling out to my DH, "Honey, can you do....". After a while we just call each other "Honeydew this... please".
Now it's our nicknames for each other. I love my Honeydew.

A mix of some of my favorite things. I love brass and gold (home decor, jewelry, etc) and giraffes are one of my favorite animals. A set of vintage brass giraffes (pictured in my avatar) was one of the first items I bought for DD's nursery.

I was introduced to the Moon Moon meme thanks to a funny things thread on here when I was a lurker, he always makes me chuckle! So my name and avatar are a tribute to the meme, and HB.
Also, lo was born in June, so things that rhyme with June, such as moon, feature heavily in our nicknames and songs for him so it just seemed extra appropriate.
