Dr. Google isn't helping, so I thought I'd turn to Dr. Hellobee. Our 22-month-old gets a red bumpy rash around his mouth that comes and goes. I've tried to see if it's related to any particular food, but it seems somewhat unpredictable. Sometimes he wakes up with it, sometimes not. There is no particular food that seems to trigger it (for example sometimes he'll drink milk and be fine, sometimes rash). He has no other symptoms of allergies (normal diapers, etc.) I'd say it's been around for the past 5 months or so.

Any one else dealt with this? Is it any allergy? Should I do an elimination diet to identify the problem or just take him to the allergist?
