J looks just like me with DH's coloring. Of course MIL is always trying to find features that look like DH, maybe they'll come out more when he's older.

I don't know why but yes. He looks basically exactly like me but DH's family always is angling for him to look like DH......like, gee thanks, looking like me is the worst thing ever?

I get a little annoyed that DH's family, who we live near, is always saying how much our girls look like him. They definitely have some of his features, but especially when comparing DD1's toddler photos to mine, besides her darker, shorter hair, she's my mini-me.

Not really - both sides say the kids look a lot like DH! He has strong genes I guess!

My son alternates between looking like my husband and my father. (He has my eyes and chin though.) I think it upsets my MIL on the days when he looks more like my father!

My mother got pissed off at me for saying my daughter has her fathers cleft chin. She's convinced it came from her, and went so far as to try and convince me I have one (I don't) and it came from our side.
She's a complete whacko.

mil is convinced that both my daughter and son look exactly like her <insert eye roll>. my daughter does look more like dh but with my eyes. my son is just 3 months so can't tell yet!
