YES!!!! For the first time in 3 years it's spotless.
We had it completely detailed a few weeks ago.
They shampoo'd the carpet and everything!

It is neat and organized, but the seats are all covered in crumbs and dried milk.

I just got it washed and cleaned today!!! I love having a clean car and don't do it nearly enough.

My car is spotless. I'm the only one that drives it to and from work and rarely have any food/drinks in it.

@Applesandbananas: that is how my brother's car used to look!

I have a toddler...what do you think?
The outside is clean. The inside (backseat) has way too many crumbs and hairbows (she pulls them off in the car) and books for my liking.

It is so dirty. We park on the street, and I walk by it every day on my way to work and hang my head in shame at how dirty it is. Cleaning it is such a hassle without access to a hose! I wish there was a nearby carwash!

@Applesandbananas: how did you get my doors open?!?
no, not at all! it's a pit. cleaning it is my goal for this wk end though. ha, i say that all the time, it's never clean!

Inside yes! But after a week the outside is dirty again
coconut / 8483 posts
Yes!!!! DH randomly cleaned it all out last week! It's spotless. For now
pear / 1639 posts
Nope. I'm terrible about getting it cleaned...the inside has a bunch of random clutter, not too bad but not spotless!
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22646 posts
Semi clean. I shop-vac'ed it a few weeks ago so it's not as messy as before. But DS has already messed it up!
DH's car is cleaner since I cleaned it out for him last wknd!

I cleaned mine out last week for the first time since J started to eat snack in the car! It was disgusting. Embarrassing, really. Haha!

For someone without kids it is filthy. For someone with kids, it is nice. I even cleaned the fabric a few days ago. BUT no matter how much I sweep there are rocks all over the floor...

@Leialou: exactly this, getting mine cleaned tomorrow too it is an absolute filth bucket and I have no idea why
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
Nope. J has books and toys all over the back seat and I have a few water bottles in the front. I need it shampooed/vacuumed so badly.

If someone needed to get in my car, I would need like 5 minutes to pick up my reusable grocery bags off the floor and pick up candy wrappers (I like to eat candy while I drive). There's some sand (? how it got there, I have no idea.) on the floor mats, so I should get the DH to vacuum it out one day. The exterior is pretty clean. DH washed and vacuumed it like a month or two ago.
If I eat fast food or have drinks in my car, I like to remove them from my car when I get home. DH says he is a cleaner person than I am but he leaves fast food bags in his back seat. Minor annoyance of mine. He might be more OCD than me, but I hate when people leave trash in my car... well, aside from my candy wrappers.
@Applesandbananas: LOL! A friend of mine was telling me about how she got a ride from a coworker whose car was like that. She couldn't see the bottom of the floor, she had to lift her feet up to sit.
Oh, speaking of which, I eat in my car, so I will probably have to brush off crumbs from my seat.
My car isn't spotless, but not filty. It needs spot cleaning now and then.
Oh, I have a pet hammock in the back seat with doggy zipline (for safety). So if someone needs to sit in the back, I'll need a few minutes to put that away.
Oh, I have two dogs. Pet hair is everywhere, but if I put the windows down, it usually flies out. Haha! The hammock thingy helps keep it from sticking on my seats. Oh, I have seat covers so my dogs won't ruin my leather seats back there.

It's ok.
The outside is quickly getting dusty but we only have one garage parking so "my" car (the family car) is outside.

I recently got all unnecessary stuff out of my car and organized what was left. I found a deal on washing and vacuuming car twice for $24, which I am debating on vs. doing it myself.

Mine is full of baby stuff. Stroller, carriers, carseat, diaper bag, blankets, sweaters...so its not DIRTY...but its not tidy either.
cantaloupe / 6164 posts
So, so dirty. Like goldfish and graham crackers everywhere. I really need to vacuum it, but who has time for that?
coconut / 8079 posts
It needs vacuumed. Our dog loves to ride in the car! Other than the dog hair it's ok!
persimmon / 1177 posts
It's not bad - just a few random wrappers and water bottles on the inside. Outside could use a good wash though.

I just got a brand new car a month ago, so for now YES! It's actually my first non hand me down car ever, so I'm planning to keep it in perfect condition (at least until DD is a toddler! )
