I don’t know if it actually increases sensitivity but post my second i have some uterine prolapse ... my ob said basically all women from pregnancy and birth get some level of it? So your cervix may not be exactly where it used to be ... but further down ... which could cause increased irritation. But might not be something you notice otherwise, i never noticed it after my first. Of course that may not be it just a thought!

Everything is different down there... I am 16 months PP with my second and still can't wear a tampon because I feel like I am going to puke every time I try. I think that working on pelvic floor tone will help a lot, but I have been slow to start really working on this.
