Mine is. Any time tests are towards the outer range of normal, they send me for more tests or follow up. I've had consistently elevated protein in my urine, so I've had 3 24-hour urine tests. My anatomy scan showed a bright spot on the heart and a possible cord issue, so I went to a specialist for a Level II u/s, a heart study, and later a growth scan. My 37 week u/s (to check size) showed amniotic fluid on the high end of normal, so I have another u/s scheduled next week to check it again.
It's good that they're so thorough and cautious, but sometimes waiting for these tests and results is draining. When I've mentioned to some people the different tests and visits I've had, they react like my doctor is crazy and just wants money.
