First grandchild in both families and first great grandchild on three sides. We don't live near our families though so she's actually not that spoiled.

First on my side and for DH's dad. He's the 3rd grandchild for my MIL (DH's stepsister had 2 children when E was born- now she has 3).

He's #5 on D's side and #14 on my side (and there's one younger than him). He is not spoiled by my family (my parents haven't even met him yet, nor has most of the rest of my family), but is surprisingly spoiled by D's family. I think because there was a decent gap between the other 4 and him...the next closest in age is 5 years older!

First grandchild and not that spoiled since she doesn't see her Grandparents often.

DD is #1 on my side. DS is #2. My sisters aren't married!

LO is my parents second grandchild. But there is a 13 year gap between him and the first!
LO is my in laws 7th grandchild, but he is the only one on the east coast. The rest are on the west coast and they don't see them as often as they'd like. They moved from TN to VA to be close to us while I was pregnant. It's their first newborn experience, first holidays with a grand baby etc. so LO is going to be spoiled rotten!!

Yes and yes... we're actually asking for no toys from them this year for the holidays because they went super overboard last year and for her birthday!

She is on my husband's side, she's the second on my side. I'd say she's actually more spoiled by my parents!!!

Yes, on both sides, and yes. But our parents are pretty respectful of our rules/ideas. We both grew up with grandparents who were NOT, so our moms are dedicated to being nice to us. We will see how long that lasts. Our kids are probably going to be the only grand kids on both sides, so it'll be a battle.

DD is #1 on my side and very spoiled.
#1 for MIL but she doesn't see the point of gifts for dd because my parents will just buy her things.
#19 for FIL.....he didn't even blink when we announced. Can't say that he's given her a gift either. -
#1 on my side, #7 on DH's. Loved by all, but nowhere near spoiled. I can count on one hand the presents she's received from her grandparents...but whatev! I spoil her enough for everyone

No, but kind of? My older sister is 20 years older than me and her girls are now 19 and 21. So the first grandchild in almost two decades

Our baby ( due in april) will be the first grandchild on both sides so I'm sure he/she will definitely be spoiled!

IL's haven't bought her one thing besides a shower present. My parents don't have a lot of money, but buy her little stuff every once in a while. They just spoil her with love!

DS is the first of my parents grandchildren and the second of his dad's family. He's also the "first" of DH's family even though he's a step. He's the only one until LO comes in their family.

Nope. He will be the 2nd on both sides. He will be the first grandson on my side which will probably mean he will be spoiled. My side of the family has been waiting on a male for 2 generations!!

1st on my side, fourth on DH's. She might not have cousins on my side so we will see how that plays out. Everyone loves her but I wouldn't say she is super spoiled.

Nope...we're both late in the game! She's #18 or so on his side and #5 on my side. She's spoiled by a few of her aunties and some of my closest friends but not by the grandparents. She's one of the favorites on both sides so we won't complain.
