My skin was much better while I was pregnant. I think I tend to get pimple from fluctuating hormones during my cycle but during pregnancy, I don't think I had one pimple! My friend was the opposite! How about you?

Well right now I'm 5 months pp and my skin is awful! Breakouts all over. I remember this last time pp as well!

@Canoli: me too! I'm 9 months pp and finally my skin has cleared up a bit. You feel real pretty with pimples and your hair falling out!

My skin is pretty terrible now but I had to stop using my regular treatments when I got pregnant so that might be the reason, not just the hormones. Maybe I should be using better products- dry, sensitive, acne-prone and pregnant! Not a cute combination.

I had perfect skin with my first and third and looked like a teenage with my second.

@travellingbee: yesssssssss! I have thin hair to begin with and it is just awful. I am not nursing so I'm taking biotin and using essential oils and I think maybe it's slowing down.

Worse I have breakouts on my chin constantly and I have this strange discolouration on my left temple that I think it probably permanent. It's like a liver spot!

Mine was both better and worse! My skin tone was more even and I had the glow, but i also had acne along my jawline.

Before pregnancy I always had very nice skin. But then pregnancy weeks 6-15 I had the world's worst skin! My forehead was like sandpaper. It was incredible. My husband and I were in awe of how bad my skin got! Also I've had it pretty bad on my chest and back. Bacne! So itchy too. Then around 17 weeks someone said "Your skin looks radiant!" I laughed out loud like shyeah...right! And went and looked in the mirror and I was like oh interesting, it cleared up a little! It still shows up on my chest and back. Now at 34 weeks my face has good and bad days. It's still very greasy though. I'll be interested to see what happens PP.

It was so bad! Wasn't bad in the first trimester and then it got steadily worse. By the end I had the most horrendous cystic acne all along my jaw line. The only plus side was the location, at least it wasn't on my cheeks/forehead where it would have been more visible. And they hurt SO BAD. I was popping around 5 white head pimples each day. It continued to be terrible after birth too. It was so bad that 7 weeks after birth it hurt to sleep at night because I was laying on my side and the pressure of the pillow hurt my pimples. I went to a dermatologist and got an a pretty aggressive regimen to bring it under control. I was so desperate I even requested cortisone shots in the terrible ones for some immediate relief. I think I was back to normal after 4 months or so PP.

Mine gets so much better! I have eczema on my knees and elbows and scalp psoriasis. Both clear up almost completely when I'm pregnant. As far as acne, I get the occasional pimple but they are mostly on my chest which is usually covered anyway. I do get these random dark hairs under my chin though. But those are easy to pluck out!

First pregnancy my skin was terrible! But so far, knock on wood, that hasn't happened this time around. Of course, I might trade bad skin for the excessive nausea I got this time around.

I started using better skincare products right before I got pregnant this time, and so my skin has been great for the most part. I noticed a change in my skin the most after going off bcp before ttc lo1--all the sudden I was breaking out on my chest like crazy!

Wayyyyy worse. My skin was the worst it's ever been during the first and second tris. I constantly had at least one pimple

Mine was so much better and actually still is 7 months PP. I also moved from a very humid climate (which made me skin oily) so that could have something to do with it.

Through most of pregnancy, my skin appears the same (mostly clear, just some small bumps) but is actually more forgiving. When not pregnant, my skin is fine as long as I don't forget to wash it day and night; if I forget just ONCE, it breaks out. However, while pregnant, I would forget to wash once (even twice!) and nothing bad would happen. There were a couple of oily phases, but they were short-lived. The oily phase was actually more annoying with my scalp because my freshly washed hair didn't look clean.

My first pregnancy my skin was fine.
This pregnancy I have tons of breakouts in my face, chest, and even arms!

Last time it was much, much worse. Constant acne! This time, no change. Same gender!

My skin seems worse while pregnant. Like PMS on steroids. I get break outs on my arms, back, and chest.

The same mostly... I do have an occasional breakout around AF, but otherwise my skin didn't change much (on my face) while pregnant. I did have a random slight red rash with my pregnancy with DS2 on my chest and arms (maybe due to progesterone?)

Better during both pregnancies. Not so great right now (4 month PP). I partially blame Bare Essentuals, since they stopped making my VERY FAVORITE moisturizer and I've had to experiment with others +1 to the comment about looking so beautiful with skin breakouts and bald spots. WTF, nature?!

Mine was better with both boys, but is much worse this pregnancy (girl)!
