I had a stomach bug Friday night and most of Saturday. Woke up this morning and feel totally normal. DH started not feeling good this afternoon, and still ate some Costco frozen yogurt (not his smartest move, and I didn't know he wasn't feeling good). He is not acting like he is going to die. Biggest baby ever when he is sick!!

He gets upset if he gets a bug bite that gets a little puffy & itchy. Seriously, he acts soooo mopey when he's sick!

Yes it is awful. Total hypochondriac too and it's hard for me to tell what is real and when I should just roll my eyes.

wife of the year!! I called SMIL and she called in a prescription so he is less nauseous now. Still acting like a baby but improvement!

Yes he is horrible!! Over Christmas we got the same cold. He had it first and was SO dramatic. Going on about how he "wouldn't wish it on ANYONE" and if he was a dog he would probably be put down. lol. it was pretty funny

Yes!!!! I will say that he has sucked it up since having R though. Most of the time, we both get sick, and if I can still take care of R and not complain, he needs to get it together and get over it!

Ugh, sometimes I wish he were a bit more of a baby! (ok, not really)
But he can be at death's door, and would still insist that he was just fine to go to work. Getting him to actually take a sick day is really tough!

He will be a baby for about a day, and then he sucks it up and moves on. That one day can be a little annoying, but I'll usually cater to him unless I'm sick at the same time, because I know I'm a huuuge baby when I'm sick!

Yes!! I am not sure it if makes me mad or if I am just jealous - when I am sick I still have to be "the mom" but when DH is sick oh good lord - he lays in bed and doesn't do one single thing!

@Mamaof2: Tell me about it. DH did nothing all day Sat. So i had to do laundry, clean, run errands all day yesterday to make up for it.

Yep - he gets sick, stays in bed and is mean as can be. I get sick and still have to cook meals, care for kids, take care of the house.

I can never tell when DH is sick because he acts normal and doesn't complain.

Ugh, I was dealing with this exact thing all weekend. I was sick on Thursday but still managed to put in a day at work and mostly take care of DS and put him to bed. DS came down with the same thing and was out for 2 days moaning on the couch how he was dying. Literally moaning.

totally a baby! he doesn't get sick often, but when he does, or if he gets hurt, he acts like it's the end of the world and everything needs to stop and cater to him.

Haha yes! He got a bug bite on his ankle and he was like "owww my leg, look at it, it's all puffy". Meanwhile, he's giving me my lupron (for IVF) shot in my stomach at the same time and I'm not complaining! Whiny boys!

In case it wasn't clear, I meant that DH was sick and was moaning. If DS was doing it, I would hate it!
