I worked as a retail manager pre-baby and I hated the ever-changing schedule. It was so hard to make plans esp because they didn't do the schedules until the week before. As mgr's we were supposed to have our schedule a month in advance and they never did that.

Totally sucked cause it was mandatory to work 3 weekends a month. I hated it!! Monday was my "weekend" and it was DH's day to go back to work. I hated having opposite schedules.

Hubs and I both work m-f. I'm 8-4:30 and he's more like 8-6.

DH works a rotating schedule. So, I would say that my schedule is also rotating because of his. I've actually learned to enjoy it much more than a m-f.

I work 7:45 - 4:45 every day. DH works from about approx. same hours, but he does real estate as a 2nd job, so that varies from week to week depending on when he has to show homes and when his clients are available.

When I worked, my hours were 8:00 - 4:30, everyday. DH was more all over the place.

Exactly the same every week (Mon-Fi 9-5), which I prefer. I hate working nights/weekends/holidays when almost everyone else is off.

I work the same hours every week (M-F, 8:30 to 4:00) and the times during the day when I'm available for appointments also remain static from week to week, unless I have something else on the schedule like a dentist or midwife appointment.

I am a full-time student and work ~15-20 hours a week. My schedule changes each semester depending on my class schedule. This semester I am here 3 days/week, but in the spring I will probably only come in 2 days. Every once in a while I will need to work on a Saturday, usually when there is some sort of community outreach program (I work in a social services agency).

DH and I work the same hours each week, and occasionally he works weekends. I really like knowing when I'll be off! I used to have a schedule that changed weekly and it was really difficult to plan things in advance, be involved in church, schedule trips, etc.
