I'm part of a FB group of English speaking moms from around the country. I asked about what temperature they normally switch to a snowsuit vs. a mid-season suit. I explain that it's my LO's first winter as a toddler.
I get some nice helpful responses, but no one really tells me a temperature, instead they say when it's freezing. But I really want to know because it could mean next week or in 2 months and I bought a snowsuit one size up (what everyone recommended) and there's no way she'll fit in that thing next week.
Then someone thought to be ever so helpful and explain that freezing means anything below 0°C. =_=
I respond to her by saying: Yes, but -5 can be next week, whereas -10 will hopefully be a few weeks from now at least. But thank you for taking the time to feel like she had to explain that to me.
After writing it here, I don't feel like it's that snarky, but it's the snarkiest I could muster! I've become one of those ppl! Ahhhhhhh! It's been a long week!
