I'm not pregnant, but we're ttc and I'm really hoping that I am pregnant soon. We've been invited to a wedding in Jamaica in March. I'm not even sure if I'll be pregnant then but like I said, I'm hopeful. Would you be too worried about zika to visit Jamaica in March?

I would but refundable tickets and evaluate yourself and the Zika situation when it's closer. I would be so bummed to miss out if I wasn't pregnant when it rolled around, and maybe they'll have a cure or preventative by then.

Nope. If you are even ttc within 6 months after the trip, then nope. It's not worth the risk.

If you plan to ttc within 6 months of March, I would skip it. Zika is already prevalent there.

I am fairly certain I read the same thing @winniebee mentioned with respect to male partners and how long the virus can remain in the bloodstream.
