@madisonbee: I randomly round this site too in my tww googling madness last cycle! It was so refreshing to find a place where people knew how to spell (can't people use spell check anymore?!) and were kind, respectful and supportive! So grateful to be a part of this group! And on the note about women being dirtier than men in the restrooms- I agree! It's appalling how nasty women's bathrooms can be sometimes...

You guys are gonna think I'm insane, but I need another set of eyes 'cause I'm thinking this is a trick and it's an evap. The line looks thicker in person too.

Naturally, I tossed the urine I dipped it in but didn't think it was useful since it was pretty diluted after guzzling water at work.

DH is wondering why I'm fumbling in the kitchen and dropping things left and right. Gah!

@knittylady: I'm 11dpo. I just stopped myself from breaking open an FRER and willing my bladder to squeeze out some more pee. I'm gonna see if I can use it later tonight or early tomorrow morning.

@madisonbee: How long did it take to show up? Looks promising, testing with FMU in the morning should give more insight.

I decided I should prepare for my appt by educating myself a bit about the common causes of infertility. Waaa, I only looked at one page but there are so many and most of them are like "you may not have any symptoms from this conditional at all." I'm feeling better now, just trying to take it one step at a time.

I think I will POAS before my appt Thurs, as I don't want to spend the time and money if it's not necessary... I wish the second week of the TWW had been over Christmas so I would have had more interesting distractions. Normally I have tons of late luteal phase symptoms (tender breasts being the most regular one) but this month, nothing.

@madisonbee: that looks positive to me! I'd test first thing in the morning with a FRER!

@periwinklebee: It showed up within 5 minutes, right when I was about to toss it. I guess when I picked it up, whatever angle it was made me look again....and again....and again.....

    Good luck this Thursday!!!

@mrskansas: I'm hopeful! And mad at myself for not using the FRER I just bought on the way home. We'll see! I'm gonna try and be a wife at home now.

@periwinklebee: I always wish for more distractions on the tww, and good idea to test before your appt. Good luck

We were just out at dinner and I went to the bathroom and noticed a tinge of pink on the TP. Thought "Welp, that's it for this month." Then I got home and wiped again to see and it's straight up brown, not red. I've read that implantation spotting is usually pink or brown, not red, so now I'm not so sure if it's AF or not. Should know for sure in like an hour or two, but it's just so annoying to go back and forth like that! This is probably 14 DPOish but I'm not charting so I don't know for sure.

I'm going to join in here now, started a new cycle on New Year's Day.
    Cycle Day: CD4
    TTC Cycle: 2
Ovulation Date: ~16th (hoping for a day or two earlier, DH leaves for 10 days for work early AM on the 17th)
    POAS Date: 26th
    Baby #: 1
What's up this month: not much, still early days for us. DH work roster all over the place next few months and lots of time away from home, so timing may be impossible for couple of months after Jan
For Fun: Any new year resolutions? Plan new kitchen!

Definitely AF - I'm out for this cycle. Will POAS again around 1/29. On to cycle 21 and Clomid.

Ugh, is 8:45 too early to go to bed?

@bizwitch: Sorry really hoping clomid will do the trick for you. I was reading some old threads awhile ago, and there was one where a bunch of people who were ovulating talked about having success with it.

    @snarkybiochemist: Thank you!

So I am 99% sure I haven't or am not going to ovulate this cycle. I'm going to start using OPKs again and see what happens but my intuition is telling me it's still coming. I'll keep y'all updated!

@mrskansas: FRER was BFN this morning with FMU. I wonder if that Wondfo was an evap or if it'll be better use pee from the afternoon/evening like I did yesterday. Def gonna try again later today/tonight!

  29. mrskansas

    nectarine / 2813 posts

@madisonbee: I have used tons of Wondfos and have never seen an evap and yours definitely looks like a line.
It's possible that urine later in the day is better when it's this early so don't get discouraged yet!

@mrskansas @madisonbee: I too have never seen an evap on wondfos, despite my best efforts, lol

  32. Mrs. Oreo

    pear / 1677 posts

@mrskansas: @bizwitch: Thanks!!! I had a super obvious evap with Wondfo on 9dpo in my first cycle; that was depressing. It was 2 days before my birthday! This didn't look like that, which is why I have some kind of hope. I'll keep you posted!

DH has already wondered why I've peed 3 times in 2 hours. I need to get a grip!

  33. Mrs. Oreo

    pear / 1677 posts

@bizwitch: Hope you're feeling well today! When do you start clomid???

  34. dominobee

    pear / 1553 posts

@madisonbee: See my essay below, lol.

I am annoyed with my body and need to vent!!

I just called the RE's office to make an appointment to get on Clomid. She said they have to do another ultrasound and round of bloodwork. When I told her my period had started last night she said "Okay, so full flow before noon, that makes this day one..." and I was like "yeah, I started last night."

But the thing is, I do NOT have a full flow yet, which is very, very strange for me. I've been menstruating for almost 23 years now and it always comes on mean and strong. Full flow with cramps for the first 2 or sometimes even 3 days.

What happened last night was very different. It started with brown spotting, then during the couple of hours between noticing the spotting and going to bed the cramps were HORRENDOUS. I would say as bad as my CP a few months back. I took 3 ibuprofen* and I could STILL feel terrible cramping an hour later. I literally slept with a hot pad tucked underneath my sweatpants so it would stay in place (pro tip - those rice pillow ones stay warm for HOURS). The cramping was also mostly on the left side, whereas period cramps are usually all over.

Woke up this morning and my tampon had almost nothing on it! Just some red and brown spots on one side. And the other weird thing is that I don't currently have any cramping. Usually I cramp all day the first and second day, at least.

So basically I have no idea what's going on with my body. This doesn't seem like implantation bleeding/cramping but it also doesn't seem like a period.

*I did some reading and I think the infertility concerns with ibuprofen might be overblown. The research mentioned "prolonged use" and "high doses." I only take it once a month on my period so I wouldn't really considered that "prolonged use." Anyway.

@bizwitch: So weird! I was thinking of you last night when you said AF showed up and while I was laying in bed, I wondered if you would update us on whether it was full blown AF. Did you tell your RE's office about that? What did they say?

@bizwitch: so odd. Can you poas just in case ?

  37. dominobee

    pear / 1553 posts

@madisonbee: I did not. I am going in tomorrow so I'll mention it then if it's not full flow yet. They do PT with the bloodwork anyway.

@knittylady: LOL girl you know I did! BFN.

  39. Mrs. Oreo

@mrskansas: My current cycle started on 10/27/16. I just randomly took one and only OPK on 12/22 for kicks and it was super positive. Ya never know!

  40. mrskansas

    nectarine / 2813 posts

@madisonbee: Yeah I just know in the back of my mind that I didn't ovulate. The OPKs looked like my body was gearing up to but never followed through. I was getting sick and then had a cold for a week so it could be from that.
I've always had longer cycles and think my hCG only hit 0 by Dec 18 so it's definitely possible that I could be ovulating in the next week or so.
    Our bodies are so confusing!
