Sorry just venting. Went for a first doctor's visit for my son and ended up going to get bloodwork which then led us to the hospital for light therapy for the whole night (hopefully not for another night). We have been here for 7 hours. Any mamas out there have any experience with jaundice with their LO?

We had the same - jaundice confirmed with bloodwork at 5 days old, then 24 hours in hospital under the bili lights. That was the worst night of my life...worry about the baby, sill healing from birth, only sleeping 30 min each two hours due to our feeding/pumping schedule, guilt that it was somehow my fault (even though it wasn't), and separation from DH as the hospital didn't have a bed for him. Hugs! Your baby is getting what he needs!
