I think there are a fair number of GF people on HB. Has anyone tried the Jules GF products? Can you recommend them?
There is a living social deal out but I hate spending $ on GF products that don't taste good.

It's AMAZING!!! It is very, very close to regular flour. There is no grittiness or weird texture. It doesn't have a weird taste or aftertaste. I use it for recipes and baking all the time. I highly recommend!

I've never tried the mixes. I would think they are good. I used to mix the all purpose flour recipe myself for years and was so excited when she started selling it. If you try the mixes let me know what you think!

I have seen Jules mix but never tried it! They don't use bean flour which is good for me... Glad to hear you like it@mrs. 64: maybe I will buy it. My mom just bought me a box of the Betty Crocker GF flour, haven't tried it yet.... I usually use Cup4Cup since its so good (but soooo expensive)

I haven't tried that one yet, but in general I've been underwhelmed with any mix I've bought. So far I've been happy with the make it yourself mixes at http://glutenfreeonashoestring.com/ (and every recipe of her's I've made is amazing).

So I'm not GF or anything, but an acquaintance from college has her own GF baking company. The stuff she bakes always looks AMAZING and it is all GF....

I have not tried it yet. Our store has a big selection of Bob's Red Mill, and I'm not sure I've seen Jules ... I'll be on the lookout now.

I haven't tried it, but I totally second cup4cup as the absolute best gf flour. It really does substitute 1:1 for regular flour and tastes exactly the same. I've never had to pay for it though, a friend got me a massive bag that has lasted forever!
