I had posted recently about surprising DH with a vacation for our first anniversary. Well... I booked it!! Ahhh! An 8 night cruise, I got a crazy deal on.
At first I was avoiding cruises, thinking if I got pregnant it might be an issue, but carnival allows you up to 25 weeks at disembarkation, so I could be up to 23w6d when we leave & even if I get pregnant next cycle, I'll be just shy of that 
I'm so excited! I hope I can keep it a secret that long...

Fun! I don't think I could keep a secret like that!
Just make sure you take a note from your doctor about how far you're along and that youre healthy to cruise. I've heard horror stories of cruises forbidding pregnant women entry to the ship bc *they think* the woman looks farther along than 25 weeks.

So fun! I also planned a surprise trip to Vegas for our 1st anniversary in April. I was able to keep the secret for...oh, about an hour 
I hope you do better than I did!

I ended up booking the end of nov even though our anniversary is in October because it saved me $1,000, totally worth waiting IMO. We went on a cruise for our honeymoon & DH loved it! I'm not sure how I'll be able to keep this a secret, but I'm gonna try my best!

@mrs. bird: After I posted my response I realized you weren't KU yet. Good luck though! And let me tell you, good call on booking a trip before you're pregnant. We TTC'd for 22 cycles, and at one point I wasn't scheduling things " because I might be pregnant then" and of course I wasn't. My TTC advice to ladies would be to Just Keep Livin' like you normally do... ha.

@dagret: excellent advice!! we've been trying for a while, not as long as you, but longer than i'd thought we would be. i used to do the, 'oh i might be pregnant then' thing too, but not now. i am pretty discouraged ATM. maybe if we end up decided to start with meds (avoiding them right now in an attempt to make it happen naturally with herbs & acupuncture), i could try time them with our trip. i've heard relaxation is get for helping to conceive!
